Afternoon, Had a busyish day, walked the park with Dageus and dropped him home, then went to Tesco for some groceries. Had the Physio putting me through it late morning but at last she has released me and I was so glad.
Felt a bit flat the last few days as the Surfing Championships were on over the W/E and I wasn’t there, first time I’ve missed them since I moved to Himself’s place.
Hope your having a good day.
Good afternoon. My niece picked up this morning for some shopping, she also took some stuff away for the charity shop. Then her daughter and grandson came by and took grass cuttings to the dump, there is still some more to go. Her dad was back again and cut the grass and pruned some bushes that were overgrown.
Morning, You had a good productive day yesterday, well done. It’s a filthy day here, non stop rain all night and it’s still coming down.
No pool, had a bad night and don’t feel up to it. Heading back to bed and hopefully will sleep.
Himself’s coming down in a few days by train, I know I can’t do the long drive yet so he’s going to collect me and the hairy one and will do most of the driving back in my my car. Looking forward to it but will miss my home in Perth.
Have a good day, hope your weather’s better than mine.
Good morning. Rox sorry to hear to hear you had a rotten night, there is nothing worse than not getting a goodnights sleep.Dunc will be looking forward to having you back home, but you will miss your own home. Its my nieces birthday today and her daughter is taking us for lunch to celebrate.
Yeah the rains stopped and it’s drying up… Good. Not sure when exactly he will get down to Perth as it’s still Lambing in the far north he will have to wait untill it’s over, I missed the lambing this year of course I love helping out with it all. He says there’s no orphans this year so far, I usually have at least one baby to bottle feed and become my shadow, hopefully it will stay that way.
Haven’t got dressed no point lazed all day, will watch some recorded TV this evening.
Found an easy-peasy way to remove the banana hanger in my bowl. I thought it was welded in. Nope! So yippee, I took it off since we end up putting the bananas in the fridge ahaha.
Put away boxes which were on top of fridge. Spring cleaning, now the top’s gleaming. Made the seagulls are happy, I gave them the remaining crackers from the last Christmas box. They’ve scoffed everything.
Daughter offered the cupcakes tree rack to one of our neighbours and she told her good news. So now daughter will have new customers for both her Avon and BodyShop products. Results!
Happy news but I’m still feeling tired…
Changed allegiance (lol sorry flaring words) with makers of vaping products. Used to be Innokin Brand but the flavour and puff was lacking.
So, was introduced to SMOK and ASPIRE. Amazing! The Aspire FlexusQ is tiny but mighty daughter loves it for her zero nicotine fruity flavours. The SMOK is slightly bigger and the model is called NORD4.
Whoa! The flavour of the liquids is 100% better and now when I’ve fun and do the genie coming out the bottle vaping column it’s huge.
Happy customers… Have a great day y’all
Good morning. Sun is shining here at the moment. Rox I used to love seeing the lambs in the fields on the way into town, miss seeing them.Supernatural where I used to live there were seagulls everywhere I hated them and the noise they made used to chase them out of the garden. Going into town today so better move and get dressed.
Good morning everyone. Hope you are all well. Not been on for ages family problems keeping me busy and getting me down too. My Son has been unwell on and off since September been waiting for a Scan since January. Going to the Golden Jubilee on 24 th April. So fingers crossed, my wee Granddaughter is here today she has chickenpox. Much better than she was now, have made a wee bed for her on the couch… so we are having strawberries and cream one of her favourites. You seem to be doing well .Rox well done you. Enjoy your day in town Jess.
Hi Bonnie
I’m sorry that your son is unwell and the wee lass with the chicken pox. I hope you get to get to the Jubilee next week. We had quite a crowd at Queen’s event here and next week will at a friend’s garden with of lots of food.
Sorry to hear that your son’s unwell. As a mum whose lost her son in 2017 from a rare cancer, I know how worried we get inside while our Munchkins are sick and all our tender loving care isn’t enough.
I’ll pray for you all.
Good afternoon. Jean sorry to hear about your son, hope all goes well with the scan for him. Your wee grandaughter has been in the wars this year as well, one of my favourites strawberrries and cream. Was in town to check up when my chairs will be arriving the end of thos month sometime. Turned really cold again after all the lovely sunshine today.
Hi Jess nice to be back on again. Thanks for the good wishes from all of you. The Golden Jubilee is the name of the hospital my son is going to.
Turned cold here too tonight. Mind ne’er cast a clout til May is oot!
It’s sad when people in general can’t understand that when you’ve spent a lovely lifetime together with the love of your life that sometimes, making decisions completely all in your own, is difficult.
It’s always good to have a second opinion. Hubby and I very much related on our opinions and options like these often.
So in the last twelve months, some decisions were easy, others were bit more difficult.
I had to take a dive as I had to swim otherwise I would have sunk. However, I’m still opening boxes about things I simply didn’t know. It hasn’t been easy but overall I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished in such a short time.
Tonight, daughter and I have to clear a cabinet so the engineer can fix the phone line and the internet.
Then we’ve made a decision on replacing two very old appliances. I don’t want to miss the sale but I’m worried of losing the frozen foods.
Oh the juggling act we’ve to do as widows… Onwards I guess right?
Good morning. Supernatural its annoying when appliances get old and and need replaced. Cold and sunny here this morning.Going over to Braehead early as I want to go to Primark for pyjamas and pick up some Krispy Kreme doughtnuts for my hairdresser. Rox hope your ok.
Dear @valentinojess yes it’s a pain. I’m just trying to improve energy bills at the same time having appliances that are more practical for me and daughter.
It was great to have someone else with worthy opinions and suggestions. I hate second guessing myself but the stress is just
Nevertheless, we’ve decided and we feel it’s a good deal. Looking back at the model last night, well he getting an entire 2 extra shelf for freezer foods as Iceland store has been a God sent…
I used to cook everything from scratch although I still do that, on days I’ve not the strength, it’s fun to pick up a ready meal and enjoy a bargain and superb quality of food. LOL!
Only wee bug, at that special price, there’s only two choice of finish, black or stainless steel, I prefer white, oops… stainless steel then lol!
Cheers!
Hi Supernatural, I like getting a second opinion on things. At the moment I’m waiting to get a new kitchen, I want new appliances as the washing machine is dire. I use ready meals at the moment mainly because its an electric hob and used one for years. Went and got my eyebrows and top lip waxed today, I cant do my eyebrows myself anymore.
Never ever touched my eyebrows, they’re always wild and natural. Also my left one hides the scar I received at age 2 from nail sticking out of belly pot cooker pipe.
I went to retrieve kitty cat’s ball and getting up up… Scratch! Oh it wasn’t pretty.
Did my legs from age 16, boy that was a mistake. Yup, I’ve got three hairs to one root, nasty.
You know them trimmers for face, underarm or bikini area? Shoot, used that on chin hairs. Now, it’s regular every three weeks, maintenance. Phew!
I use sugar wax from Holland and Barrett
Thankfully, once the monthlies ended and menopause began, I’ve had no need to shave, wax or use any epilators for my legs. Strangely enough, no regrowth.
Finally, ended up with better hormonal cycle now. So, I count myself lucky!
Evening all went to Sainsburys with my Son tonight, first time out since a tummy bug on Sunday. Had a salad for dinner but only had some of it now amlooking forward to a cup of tea,
My washing machine is on its last legs goes fine on only one programme but it is the one I always used. So wiki have to think about replacing it. Shame about your kitchen Jess I thought it had just been done before you moved in. It is always something.
Good morning. Jean hope your over the tummy bug there’s nothing worse when that happens. Not sure how old the kitchen is, but the washing machine is rubbish its a Candy, sometimes I have to put on spin and drain. Sunny here this morning so taking it easy, was supposed to meet a friend but something else has come up.
Morning Jess lovely day here too. Sorry about your day out. Hope everything is ok. Popping to the Post office with a parcel. Then having a relaxing day doing heehaw. Hope it will settle my stomach.
Hope everyone has a relaxing weekend.
