Good morning everybody, looks a bit cold out there today. Jean hope you enjoyed your wee day out yesterday, its even better when it hasn’t been arranged. Rox hope your ok today and May. Had the window cleaner here yesterday, the first time they’ve been cleaned for the first time. Going into town today for a look round the shops.
Morning, Dry and cold here, had a terrible night of pain, and yelling everytime I moved. Neighbours must have thought I was being murdered, was sitting watching the lunchtime news yesterday and my left shoulder, about 3ins down started to feel very uncomfortable. An hour later I was in agony and yelping every time I moved, gawd knows what’s happened. 
But it’s all locked up, daughter is taking me to the Chiropractor in an hour, hope he can help fix it, had to sit up and doze all night as I dared not lie down, the pain was horrible when I tried. Got up for an ice pack several times through the night as it helped take the edge off things. I’m soooo sick of bloody pain, it’s one thing after another since 3rd of January, not had one day of no pain since my fall. I feel like I’m being punished for something but I don’t know what.

Evening, My Chiropractor was a big help he got me loosened off a lot. He says it’s all to do with the weeks of walking with the zimmer. I am no longer walking upright like I normally do I’m walking kind of bent over it, along with the lack of exercise from swimming, now it’s taking it’s toll on me. I have to use ice packs on my shoulder also got some exercises to keep it loose and moving. Going to get back to the pool as soon as I can. Sooooo tomorrow I will get into my car for a wee drive and see how it goes.
Good morning everybody, cold and grey here this morning. Rox that’s good that your Chiropractor was able to help you with some exercises, hope you manage to get out in your car tomorrow for a short drive. Hairdressers for me today and a bit of retail therapy.
Afternoon, cold but sunny here, looks like summer through the windows, then you open the back door…Cccold.
Managed into the car, bit of a struggle but made it. Drove no bother only did a 12 mile circit and it did the car some good too as it’s not moved since Jan 2nd. Weather and my pains permitting I will try the pool one day next week. Actually I know the pool will be ok, it’s the changing rooms I’m worried about, the seats/benches are very low down and I know if I manage to sit then I won’t be able to get up again, there’s nothing to hold on to. Hopefully I will get the disabled changing room, high seats and several grab bars. Also getting to the pool at 7am could be a bit of a challenge as I no longer wake for 6am.
Well done Rox on getting into the car and going for a short drive. I know a car needs to be turned over or taken for a drive for the sake of the engine. Hopefully you’ll get to the pool and manage to get the disabled changing rooms. Had my hair done then did some food shopping and caught the bus home because of the cold wind.

Iconic Glasgow bakery Mortons Rolls has reportedly [ceased] all trading.
The company, based in Drumchapel, was formed in 1965 when it began selling morning rolls. It has since branched out into other baked goods.
I’m devastated as a couple of Mortons rolls on bacon or scrambled egg are My weekend treat…I’ll never buy those horrible pr-packed baps They sell in Supermarkets which taste like cardboard…end of an era

Kirsty Blackman, the MP for Aberdeen North, shared a screenshot of a message she’d been sent attacking Scottish MPs over their accents.
The message read: “May I further request that when speaking in the English Parliament the SNP members converse in ENGLISH not the most disgusting mispronunciations of almost every word with a vowel in it that they habitually use which I find a gross insult and abuse of the beautiful English language.”

I’m planning on trying a return to the pool in a few days, weather and balance permitting. As I’m still in Perth I’m rejoining Bannatynes on a month to month cycle untill I can get back up North, couldn’t do the long haul drive yet, nor negotiate the farm tracks ect ect.
I love the Bannatynes Pool, with it’s 3 Jacuzzis, 2 saunas and 2 steam rooms. I was a member there for years before I moved up north most of the time. Looking forward to it, but also quite nervous, another hurdle to get over.
The place has a massive gym as well, but I stay in the pool area, never was a gym bunny. 
Morning all. May I couldn’t believe it when I saw Mortons were closing. Marks and Spencer’s sold them. So got them on a Friday night for Sat and Sun. Luckily our wee local bakery dos a good roll.
Lovely looking pool Rox. My neighbour has just retired and has started driving to Eastfield pool so she says I am welcome to join her. So going to try on my swimsuit later have me doubts if it will faint me. Maybe all the morton’s rolls lol!

Good morning everybody. It is a shame about Mortons rolls loved the burnt ones. A roll and square sausage wont be the same now. Rox that looks a lovely pool no wonder you cant wait to get back to it. Jean you’ll fit into your swimsuit wae nae bother a taw. Have to got to 02 this morning my phone is showing that they have stopped calls on it, don’t want to try anything in case its a scam.
Afternoon all,went up the Clydeside this afternoon to get some pots and some soil. It was dull when we left but the Sun came out and it was really nice.
Making chicken curry for dinner. Quite an easy recipe and will freeze half of it for another day.

Morning, Bright and sunny here but really cold. Won’t be going out I hate being cold. Not a happy bunny today as my plans have been scuppered.
Seems I won’t be heading to the pool as soon as I thought. One of the neighbours popped in for a coffee yesterday afternoon and she swims at Bannatynes, It seems there is a problem with the pools heating system and they are waiting on a new part to arrive. She says the water is freezing, so I’ll have to wait till it’s sorted as I am not freezing my bahookie off… I hate the temperature drops and this one is drastic.

I have the Physio Lady coming to me this morning, that’s going to be fun… Not.
Might take the car out for a wee run this afternoon if it stays nice, will take Dageus as well, poor Hairy One is as fed up as I am.

Good afternoon Each,it was very frosty here first thing this morn’,but now it’s a fab’ sunny afternoon…Had My groceries delivered @ 8.30 so had a wee gallivant around Town for an hour after breakfast then washed some winter woolies and hung them out on the line…Sleet & snow is forecast for later here in the Central belt as the week goes on so may not be goin’ out n about for a while.
