Quiet day for me. Weather is … horrid.
Morning, Rain and more rain AGAIN 
no pool today slept in THEN, when I opened the door on the washing machine a flood of water came pouring out 
took ages to clean up. I put the machine on spin and it worked but I suppose I’ll have to start looking for a new one, the Beco I have now is around 15 years old so I shouldn’t moan, but gggggrrrrrrr
It’s going to be one of those blooming days.
Oh well, we could play snooker instead…!

I reckon everyone is sick of the rain now … I am.
but better than snow as they say.
Just think … in just over 6 weeks we do the clocks,

Morning, Fair Chuffed. There was a wee packet waiting for me when I got home from the pool, Regan spotted these Tea Towels and bought a couple then posted them to me. I love them and I’ll use one and put the other up on the wall I think.

Not a bad day here today too … it’s supposed to be warmer by weekend aswell. I’m really ready for spring this year. Don’t know why as it’s not been a particularly bad winter.

Good morning Each,no sunshine here today cloudy and rain forecast for later…but I did get quite a bit done in the back garden yesterday,cleaning tubs/pots etc’ ready for planting in the coming weeks…so just a lazy day for Me in the kitchen cooking for the freezer,

Morning, Bit chilly this morning but it’s supposed to be the start of getting a bit warmer. Going to do a bit of a tidy up in the garden tubs this afternoon, after I catch up with the washing and a few other things.
I see there’s been a fresh fall of snow over on Orkney…Yuck.

Scottish actor Robert Carlyle is set to star as the guest lead in the new series of Line of Duty.
The Bafta-winning actor, known for Trainspotting and The Full Monty, will portray specialist rifle officer Det Con Shaun Massie in the seventh series of the BBC show.
The 64-year-old joins actors Martin Compston, Vicky McClure and Adrian Dunbar, who will reprise their roles in the next instalment of Jed Mercurio’s hit crime thriller.
The show is set to start filming in Belfast in the spring before being broadcast next year.

People in Scotland are spending a greater proportion of their life in poor health than in previous years, new figures from the National Records of Scotland (NRS) , external show.
The latest figures for the 2022 to 2024 period shows healthy life expectancy is now 59.1 years for men and 59.4 years for women.
Healthy life expectancy, which is the number of years a person can expect to live in good health, has been falling since the mid-2010s for both men and women. Life expectancy has seen a small increase in recent years, however.
The NRS said people living in some of Scotland’s most deprived communities were more likely to live in poor health than those in the least deprived areas.
The figures show women have lost almost four years of healthy life expectancy and men have lost three years since 2014 to 2016.
The figures are based on answers to a national survey where respondents rate their health as very good or good rather than fair, bad or very bad.

My Granddaughter flew up to Inverness from Liverpool on Tuesday 19th and on the drive up to Wick in treacherous weather conditions on the A9 was about 30 miles from home went into a 360 degree spin. Take care out there people!
