Posted 3 days in the trot about a week back, nobody bothered to answer so I stopped.
This used to be a busy thread up till a couple of years ago when folk either left the forum or got fed up posting.
Oh I could hug you ā¦ I was getting lonely. 
Och the noo ! As is happens I have had been having radio therapy - seven weeks of it.

Apologies Rox I have not been great myself.
I do talk from time to time with my great niece, aged 4 and nearly a half.
The nearly a half is very important to her.
She loves horses and wants a pony and I made the mistake of telling her about you and your Clydesdales.
The even bigger mistake was showing her a photo of a pair of Clydesdales.
She is now determined to get a pair and is giving her Parents serious grief about not getting her a pair.
They live in a 3 bed detached near the middle of Coventry. 
Hi Swims I wasnāt referring to yourself and the visitors to here, When I first started coming to this thread years ago it was on the old original forum that we all liked, it was full of Scots who used to post every day about all sorts of things. Gradually it emptied especially after the site changed to what we now use, I still find it awkward to do some things, otherās gave up altogether.
As for the Clydes, they are very expensive to own, my OH sometimes says he should just sit in the corner and tear up Ā£20 notes, especially after the Vets been for whatever reason.

Thatās fine Rox, the Scottish thread is one that I really enjoy reading.
As for the Clydesdales, the littlies Mum is a high flying Solicitor, very annoying at times and gives my Sister, who I love to death, a lot of grief, she feels she is very entitled to not turn up on time and does not even consider giving Sis any money for looking after and feeding her daughter.
Annoying her is just something I feel justified to do as my sister is far too nice.
Well now, she sounds a right entitled so n so. Personally I detest people who act like that and I would be setting a load of boundaries and rules for herself. Now you may fall out with me for saying that but Iām speaking from experience. I had a bad time with one of my sisters who got a hell of a shock when I called time on her and her way of treating me. It was my friend who made me see sense, one day after she saw how things were. She gave me some straight talking and that gave me the guts to stop it.

Not everyoneās personal circumstances are the same and Sis is having to concentrate on other more personal matters at the moment.

Good afternoon Peopleā¦Just opened laptop to do My online grocery order and saw that Iāve not been online for almost 2 weeksā¦how time flies when Iām off My backside busy doing stuff at Home
The weather is much the same as it always is in Winter here,rain,cold,sleet,snow,ice,frostā¦rain rain and more rain

Been out this morning, jogging around the town. Gawd itās so miserable this year ā¦ grey skies, drizzly rain and dank and dull.
Iām now dunking biccies wondering whether to run around with the hoover. Itās not grabbing me ā¦ but needs must. Time to be a domestic diva.

Afternoon, weāre not long back from the Leisure Centre, we were both grumpy and on edge, I blame this weather and no sunā¦I need the sun. Anyway we decided some time relaxing in the Steamroom and then the Jacuzzi was in order so thatās what we did. And we both feel better for it. Then went over to the Ocean Front Cafe for a Latte, out for dinner tonight in Scrabster then the local for a while.

Good afternoon Folksā¦I wonāt mention the weather 
I spent the day yesterday in My Daughters house,Son was upset as Heād just been told one of His best Friends had just died,also one of Daughters Schoofriends and SILs Friend had passed away too in the last few weeksā¦so very sad as They were all just in Their early 60sā¦Made Us realise just how fragile Life can be.

Afternoon All, Weather is dry thatās all Iām going to say. 
Stuck in waiting on the plumber coming to sort the shower, something has happened to the temperature control, you either fry or freeze, thereās no in between, blooming annoying and useless at the moment. I wish the guy would get a move on, starting to growl with frustration, I hate waiting on workmen.
