Over 50's Club Scotland

Well I went out and got utterly utterly drenched.

Just a wee snippet from Scotlands newspapers about Nessie the monster in Loch Ness …NOT the 2 legged monsters who live in Norfolk or the Whitehouse!!

tens of thousands of visitors descend on Loch Ness each year, hoping for a glimpse of the loch’s elusive monster.

The mystery is all part of the fun and the loch will be under more scrutiny than ever this weekend as more than 50 Nessie enthusiasts from across the world take part in a major spotting exercise.

They will scan the waters from strategic points, logging any sightings, as part of a hunt to mark 90 years since the first organised expedition to try to track down the famous creature.

Paul Nixon from The Loch Ness Centre told STV News: ā€œThey should document any sightings – time of day, where it is, what they think they are looking at and of course any photographs they capture.

ā€œThis will be uploaded to our database at the centre where our team of experts will analyse them and answer – or not answer – what it is they are looking at.

Oops.forgot to say good morning Folks,it’s a miserable wet one here which suits My mood…Arthritic joints playing up and making Me a crabbit auld git…Hope I don’t get any visitors :grimacing:

Morning, It’s not too bad at the moment but I don’t think the rains far away. Just catching up with housework today then maybe my jigsaws and audio book for a while this afternoon.

Was a nice morning here but rained again for the afternoon … it was mich milder though!
I think it’s coming … I really think it is! Spring is just around the corner!

Tssk … I’m sitting here on Hadrian’s Wall getting a numb bum and there is no one about.

Hi Morti. I’m sitting here picturing you wrapped up in a blanket. Why do suppose that just happened? :grinning:

I know what you’re getting at … my streaky rashers. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Afternoon, Well this is like the Marie Celeste. Totally alone and adrift since I’ve been away in Perth, I can see this thread packing up in the near future if this goes on.
Got back in the wee small hours and I can tell you I’m NOT doing that journey after dark ever again, every damn vehicle coming toward me had those horrible blinding lights on it, I almost ran off the road several times, I was a wreck when I finally got here.

I think it’s more like my wee dog Rosie’s favourite food…Pigs in blankets. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I thoroughly agree Rox. It’s not ez driving after dark anymore.

Hey I’m here. I thought everyone had gone off … or I’d got BO

Some of those huge artic’s are terrifying, their lights were high up at my eye level and I couldn’t see a thing. I used to enjoy doing the run at night as the road was a lot quieter. Now it’s just scary.

Hi Morty, I went away to Perth for a few days, wanted some time with the family. Was shocked to find it had gone dead while I was away.

Ah … we always keep the seats warm here just incase.

Hope you had a good time.

Yes thanks not seen any of my sisters since last summer, it was well overdue. Had no bad weather either, I’m going back in a few weeks but telling nobody. There’s a good bit of work to do in my back garden once the warmer weather arrives, I won’t get through it if anyone knows I’m there.

Morning, Lovely day here so catching up with jobs around the place. Washings out and after lunch am away to set up my water feature again. Just hope those thieving crows leave it alone this year and don’t pinch all the stuff out of it.
Got a new phone cover, never seen one like this before, fair chuffed with it.

Lovely day here as well after a frosty start. Nothing much planned for today

Today I have decided … I have got to lose weight.
