Good evening. Another cold one here today, went to the shops and got what I needed and home again. I went to my nieces before the Bells to see in the New Year. Her daughter drove me home about two in the morning.

Good Evening Scot & Jessie,still bitterly cold here -3 ā¦bright sunshine but no snowā¦Hope Rox is okā¦I have no plans to go out any time soon,and just been doing a cook-up for the freezer so I wonāt starve.

Morning, So much snow itās unbelievable. The A9 was shut yesterday every snowgate closed, right down passed Inverness, no one in and no one out, never heard of it like that before.
Canāt go anywhere as my cars still out of action how itās going to get to the garage tomorrow I donāt know, tow truck I guess, certainly canāt drive it while itās overheating the way it is, think the engine coolant has leaked out somehow.

Good morning. Still really cold here the cars still have frost on them., No plans to go out today have enough to keep me going till tomorrow. Heatings on and Iām going to start taking down the decorations down. Rox been watching the news on TV hope your ok.

Iām doing ok thanks Jess just so fed up not having my car to get out. Itās been days now and I really miss it. Dunc needs the Land Rover to get feed to the sheep and other jobs plus he says if Iām at home he knows where I am. 
Heading to the stable shortly spend some time with the Clydes and have a bit of a muck out. Gawd how I hate Winter.

I actually liked winter in the hills of Angus in Winter. And also when went Skiing in Glenshee. Still no snow here in South Yorkshire.

Brrr ā¦glad Iām not up Scotland. Iāve had snow here down in the Cheshire but only a covering.
Not enough to build snowmen or Iād be out there building one ā¦ theyāre probably the only men slow enough for me to catch now at my age.

Afternoon Allā¦itās Baltic here with roofs,paths,pavements,roads glittering with frost in the sunshineā¦I usually take My Neighbours bins back in when empty,but not today as the last thing I need is to slip and break My neck,so if They donāt bring Mine in it can stay on the pavement until thereās a thaw

Afternoon All, Still snowing and still below freezing, itās horrible out, this photo is the Berriedale Braes just south of Thurso near Helmsdale. Itās part of the the main A9 road north which is closed again as itās too dangerous to travel on. It came up on my FB Feed. I travel this road a lot and Iāve driven it covered with snow a couple of times and was scared out of my wits incase I went over the cliffs, but never like this. Itās hard to even see the hairpin going uphill on a very steep road, but look carefully and youāll see it bending away to the left. 2nd photo is how it looks without the snow.
My car was taken off to the garage a while earlier, be away a couple of days I expect. But at least the repair is under way. To be minus 7 or 8 tonight with an Amber Weather Warning in placeā¦Oh Joyā¦Not.

Good morning all. The worst of the storm seems to be past and the sun is shining. I have cleared our drive but donāt intend taking the car out. I will have to take a hike to the shops.
Morning weāve had some rain here. Supposed to have my hair done this morning but, cancelled it as looks quite slippy out there. Bin day here but they can wait till tomorrow before I bring them in, donāt want to fall and hurt myself.
