Over 50's Club Scotland

Morning, Bright and Frosty this morning, but blooming cold. I used to think it was a healthy winters day these and I always enjoyed walking the dogs on days like this, they seemed brighter too.
Not sure what’s on today, might head down to the stable for a bit of a tidy up after I’ve made a pot of soup. Not allowed out on my own yet so it’s another at home day.
Must remember to start the car and let it chug over for a while, it’s been 2 weeks since it moved.

Evening All,having prob’s replying to threads,hope this one’s ok

Seems OK in my court, Ms May…

Thanks Mac…no doubt it’ll work itself out.

Morning, Gawd it’s white out there (frost) poor cars are solid. But the sun is due out, my chiropodist is due today thank goodness, my toenails are getting sore when I put shoes on. See we are to get really high winds tomorrow…Oh Joy.
Not sure what’s on today if anything, will be glad to be over this and I get my life back to normal, I feel like I’m in jail.

Morning a lot warmer here today thank goodness. Washing is on but I don’t think I’ll be hanging it out. Food shopping later as the cupboard is bare and I like having a full freezer, specially in winter time.

Good to hear it’s warming up a little there! We had a cold blast last week in Not Scotland, but it warmed up for some decent beach time on the Atlantic side, and the sanderlings were very happy (cross-posted). It’s been quiet at NASA (in the background) since last week.

I’m right behind you @valentinojess, there’s going to be a mutiny here if I don’t get to the grocery store today with everything being closed for Thanksgiving tomorrow.

I hope you all keep thawing out; we’ve another

You know Rox …it’s wonderful to hear you sound so full of energy and keen to do things, chomping at the bit to get on with things., You sound so much like your old self.

Still frosty here early on but I suppose nothing compared to ‘up North’. Weather forecast is for rain for the next few days so I’ll nip off into the village this afternoon.

Thanks Morty, but though I’m fed up and longing to get going I doubt very much if this blooming body of mine would let me. I tire very easily the operation took a lot out of me, It will be easier once I can drive again, I won’t be so home bound and can head to the ocean or have a drive about anytime I want, just sit in the car or have a very short walk.

Is that the nickname for the recreation block?

Rox it wont be to long till your back driving again. A bit warmer here this morning although its been raining. Meeting a friend in town later for coffee or a glass of wine.

Morning, The rain here is unrelenting and later today we’re being hit with 40+ mph winds for 24 hours or so, how much damage will that do I wonder.
I persuaded Dunc to take me out to the Front for lunch, looking forward to that.

Hi

Rox they normally let you drive 4 weeks after the operation.

I found it more tiring than I thought it would be at first.

Another miserable day, rain and still crazy winds, though I believe it’s to calm down later today. No damage that we can see this time.
So it’s another stay at home day for me, Dunc’s over mucking out the Clydes Stable, that’s usually my job.
Enjoy your day…

It’s not great here either … very grey and depressing.
I’ve succumbed to comfort good … but what else is a girl supposed to do.
