Good morning, dry here at the moment. My niece Libby is coming round later to help me with the garden waste bin. Do any of you have a smart meter and is worth having one. Got some ironing to get done later, first some breakfast.
Good morning all have been up at stupid o clock this week. Have to be at my
Daughters at 7.30 to let her get to work and put the kids out to school. Her .hubby is away all week. Just one more 6 am get up yippee. Come home in between to get stuff done as am going down to Alnwick on Sat. Looking forward to the wee break. So will get yokit and do some work before I leave at 1pm to get back for the kids coming in. My Daughter says it keeps me young I think it might possibly do me in lol!

Good afternoon Each,a damp dreich chilly one here,so had a long lie-in and watched a bit of tv in bed,so no walk this Mornā.
I rejected having a smart meter Jessie after being hounded for months on end by phone/text by My provider,when They kinda threatened Me I lost My temper and told Them the smartest thing in My Home was Me and if They continued to harass Me I would go elsewhereā¦not heard a word since 
ā¦But My meters are easy to read/send readings online every 3 months/payā¦just takes minutes so no probāsā¦If Your meters are hard to reach/read Jessie or You have trouble doing it online,then maybe a smart meter would be best for Youā¦My Daughter/Son are quite happy with Theirsā¦so far,
I donāt want a smart meter either, I have heard so many people have a lot of problems with them. What we have works just fine and Iāve no intention of messing with it.
Is there not a Thread about them on this site? Bung smart meter in the search box (top right) and see what comes up.

Must admit I havenāt paid too much attention recently Rox,but I like Mhairi as Sheās defā down to Earth ā¦I wonder how She would fair in westmonster though.
Jean busy as usual, youāll meet yourself coming back one day. May Iām not really sure either about a smart meter, both meters are in a cupboard at the front door. One of my nieces would probably read them for me as Iāve never done it.The last house had both meters outside the front door and the leccy board would come round and do the reading.Havenāt seen any news today, Iāll catch up with it later.

Good afternoon. Sunny and cold here today. Emptyied a few more bags from the garden waste bin this morning. Tidied up and will head over to Braehead shortly for some food shopping and something for Sunday dinner tomorrow.

been up & doon ladders changing curtains from light summer ones to heavy lined winter onesā¦bunged the heating up a notch and now have My feet up with a cuppa options & a cheese toastyā¦Iām done for the dayā¦luvly jubbly.
Good afternoon. A busy afternoon for you May in the house. I donāt have any curtains yet just blinds that were here when I moved in. Went to Braehead for some presents it wasnāt to bad, but there more people going in there when I left.
Iām more and more reluctant about going xmas shopping Jessie so Methinks Theyāll all be getting a few quid to buy whatever They wantā¦I aint got the energy to trawl around shops looking for stuff,

Morning, Not nice here, soooo windy and cold. Had the car heaters on full heat on the way back from our walk and my teeth were still rattling. Home for the rest of the day and as soon as my fingers defrost Iāll be getting on with knitting my thick heavy cardigan, I sure do need it now. Alright for Dunc, the bugger never seems to feel the cold.
