Sorry to hear that Rox,hope She’ll be ok…I still have to go online to get another appt’…I really think having to go to Hosp’ appt’s with lots of People waiting in a small room will be a real chance of Me catching this feckin virus…crossing My fingers :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Make sure you have a mask and try to sit away from people on your own.

Not allowed in to the Hosp’ without a mask.and ALL the staff there wear them too.

Good morning Each,a dull cloudy one here but no rain so far,
not going anywhere as I’m a bit off balance with only being able to see out of one eye with or without My glasses…a real pain in the arse that is,…I’ve become a right auld moaner these last couple of weeks so it’s a good job I live on My own :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
Have a good day all,x

Good morning not sure what the weather is going to do. Rox sorry to hear your daughter has covid, hope it’s not to bad. Jean poor you, you wont know what to do with yourself. May I think we’re all entitled to a moan at our age. Jean I remember we went to see the film, the show last night was really fantastic everyone was good.also the music.

Morning All, Went back to the pool this morning early and it was really quiet so I got a good swim. Headed over to the Front with my coffee afterwards to drink it and watch the ocean. It’s calmed down a lot. Walked Dunnet Beach with The Hairy One for an hour then headed home to get the washing on and some tidying up done. Not sure what’s on this afternoon, stables or work here in the house, depends on the weather I suppose.

Good morning Each,up with the lark again and it’s still dark so don’t know what the weather’s like out there,
For the first time in 2 weeks I don’t feel like there’s a bit of irritating gravel in My eye.yay!.so I’m off out later for a gallivant into Town,
Hope You’re feeling a bit better Bonnie and You don’t have flu’…I’m not in a rush to get the jags until My eye heals completely,
Have a good weekend All,xx

My sister had Covid about a month ago & she felt ill. If your daughter is coughing tell her to check the colour of the mucus. My sisters was slightly pink so they gave her anti biotics

May you should be entitled to moan after what you have been through with your eye! All I can say is you seem to be doing really well, so try to focus on the idea that your eyesight will be much improved when the treatment is completed. :+1:

Rox still haven’t got back to swimming you put me to shame! But as soon as this cold/flu whatever it is lifts I am determined to start back.
My bloody eye is gradually getting back to normal too.
Enjoy your day whatever you are up to.

are You moving out of Largs?

I haven’t been allowed to do any exercising this past couple of weeks,so My muscles & joints are aching now from lack of use…feet up with tea & biccies for the rest of the day and the treadmill has been folded and put away for a wee while.

Afternoon, Had a busy morning trying to fit it all in before the rain came, just did it and now it’s chucking it down but the dogs been walked, the stables are clean, and the clydes are groomed, and I’ve just had a shower to get rid of the horse smell. Lunch in about ten minutes then I’m having an afternoon with my online jigsaw and an audio book. Not done that for several weeks.

Twink I send my daughter a text about the pinkish mucus but she says it the green/yellow stuff and very little of it.

That is good to hear Rox! Just tell her to keep an eye on it because it can take a couple weeks to get rid ot the mucus. Inhaling steam, if she can do that, helps but if it changes colour, she may need anti biotics.

Good evening. Yes, May I’m moving from Largs, the house is just to big and also the travelling. I’m moving to Renfrew and I’ll be nearer to my nieces and the shops in Glasgow. Rox you’ve been busy today. Twink I didn’t know you had mucus with Covid. Had my hair done then went for lunch and got caught in a heavy shower. Ironing done and the bathroom cleaned, going to do some more of my jigsaw.

Won’t you miss not being beside the ocean Jess? I’m so drawn to it, have been all my life. Gave my mum a few scares with it when I was wee, or so she told me.

My sister started with feeling sick and too many trips to the toilet but then the cough arrived. Apparently, the mucus is caused by white blood cells that are unable to fight the infection and die, just as happens when you have any chesty cough. The pink colour is probably caused by coughing too hard to get rid of it, so tiny breaks to minor blood vessels in the lungs… and that is why she was given anti biotics. She did covid tests every day till she got a clear one about 2 weeks later.
I am not certain, but I expect that covid cells would find it easy to move to other parts of the body via blood. Anyway, my sister was not as bad as those who have to go to hospital, but she was weak and had to isolate.

Good morning showers here this morning. Rox I am going to miss living by the sea, but the house is to big for me. Two lots of stairs, four bedrooms and two bathrooms and one cloakroom. Twink that was good that your sister didn’t end up in hospital like some other people did.

May I will be nearer to family as well. Also closer to shops without involving a train journey. Got things to do here as well this morning some ironing and a few other things.

Afternoon, started out nice this morning and as well as walking The Hairy One I got some tidying up done in the out buildings and shed.
Turned cold and windy now so inside where it’s warmer.
Out to dinner at the Ferry Inn tonight, if this Covid picks up much more pace we will be confined to the farm again, no meals out, no meeting friends in the village local. :sob::sob::hushed:
Have a nice W/E.
