Out early today to get to the hairdressers. May my mum would have a 104, its her birthday next month. I always say Happy Birthday to my family who have passed away. Abbey good cure for a cough, take heed Myrtle. Mile lucky you getting home made soup and cake.

Good Afternoon Folks. Ditto weather here. Bags of sun but a bitter wind - that seems to be getting up. I should continue with the jungle clearance (weeding flower beds) this afternoon, but I could easily be put off doing that for another slightly warmer day. Assuming we get one of course!

Back from Galloway forest park . Had a lovely walk there , the weather couldnāt have been nicer . Saw a red squirrel too which was lovely . Luckily it managed to get up a tree before my whippets came over to say Hello !!
Didnāt walk so far as I would have liked as my poodle is just not able but what we did was lovely .
The Costa coffee and scone after was a real treat too .

Good afternoon all. Dark, cold and heavy showers some of them hail up here.
Did the housework and shopping and it was nice to get out in the fresh air. Also bought some fat balls for the birds and had a look round the local shops.
Jess , I feed the birds with fat balls at the forest where I walk my dogs . They are eating loads just now with the weather getting colder I think . Will have to stock up again soon as well !
Abbey thatās one of the reasons I stayed home today I wanted to stuff from the local shops.

Another sunny, but bitter day again here in the hills. Yes, like you say Abbey & Jess, the birds are notching up their intake now. Iāve a fair sized seed feeder, which they can empty in a day no bother! Peanut feeder is getting a hammering too - literally, from the Woodpeckers as well. Pheasants are hoovering up the spilled seeds from below the feeders. The pleasure you get from seeing a variety of birds at close quarters more than outweighs the cost of their food. Iām sure youāll agree. (I hope so anyway)
I might pile on the layers later and see if the walking boots still work !! Have a great day folks.

Good morning another sunny one here. I like watching the small birds but its the seagulls and the pigeons I hate I always chase them away.
Another fabulous day again but quite a cold wind . Went my favourite Ardwell pond walk today . It was lovely and the dogs had great fun .
Saw a wren which was very special as they are my favourite bird .
Heard on the radio some of the roads up north are closed due to snow , brrr looks like winter has arrived !
Got the logburner on now and a big pot of homemade mushroom soup cooking . Think I will enjoy that !
Eveninā All,aye itās been bitterly cold here too so hope the snow stays away 'til Xmas Day :-p
I miss My fireplace in this house though central heating is quick and warm,You just canāt beat a real fire on nights like this.
It was a bit warmer here today. Abbey I made a pot of vegetable soup and a pot of stew. May there is nothing to beat a coal fire.
