Afternoon All, Started really nice but raining now. Glad I got the dog walked. Got a shock when we got to the beach, there’s this guy in swimming trunks wading out of the water WTH? That water is freezing and he was almost blue…Mad Ass. 
Just catching up around the house after lunch, then maybe a couple of hours with my online jigsaw and audio book.

Why is it better to swim in cold water?
The heart has to pump faster in cold water and the body must work harder to keep everything warm while swimming. Overall, far more calories are burned during cold water swimming than swimming in warmer conditions.
EEK!..no thanks…but I see cold water swimming has become quite trendy now!

Good afternoon everybody. Roxy they were doing swimming in the sea here for charity, a few months ago. May its not for me either, I don’t even go swimming on holiday. Paddleboarding is the latest thing here, you see them out there paddling away. Turned out a lovely sunny day here.

paddle boarding is that where they stand up ? quite a few cold water swimmers here they look the colour of beetroot when they come out the water …was absolutely beautiful day weather wise here today cheers
Yes that’s when they stand on the board paddling. Looks like fun but not for me.

Been out most of the day as it’s so nice. Beach/forest walk this morning with the dog. Went over to Wick after lunch for some shopping, bought a carry out coffee, then took it over to “The Trinkie” to drink it, and sit in the sun. Had a lovely surprise while I was sitting on the wall a family (I think) of dolphins swam by so close I could have touched them. It was awesome…

Is nardinis still in largs ? @valentinojess used to go there alot and always enjoyed an ice cream not been there now for a few years lovely wee place
Awesome photo Roxy, we sometimes get them here. Caveman its still here but under a new ownership. Largs has changed quite a bit over the last few years.

Afternoon some amount of rain this morning lashing doon so quick dog walk and back to work
Evening Everyone, That’s me back in Perth at my own place for a while again. 
Sometimes I just have an overwhelming need to be on my own. WHY? No idea, but I’ve always been that way. Drive down was nice and quiet, that was a surprise I was expecting it to be busier, but hey it was good. Doing nothing for the rest of the day, feet up and telly on, then an early night. Not told anyone I was coming yet, want some me time for a few days first.
