Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

Paula enjoy the time with your daughter and family. Roxy I know you’ll love being back at the pool again doing your lengths. Bonnie hard to believe your granddaughter is five already. Been to the hairdressers and the bank to pay my visa bill.

morning everyone…what a beautiful morning here, sunny and not a cloud …sitting out in the garden kind of morning…but have some shopping to do first, hope it’s nice where you are

Good Morning Each, aye a lovely sunny warmish one here too, watered the garden and hung the washing on the line,so off to the Library after I’ve had My coffee.

Morning Ladies, lovely sunny day here as well but not as warm as it could be. September, gawd it’s all downhill from here. Not long back from the pool and heading away with the dog shortly. Am a wee bit concerned as the throat seems to be going in reverse, I don’t think I was given enough antibiotics. I was feeling better every day when I was on them but I didn’t get enough to clear it up altogether, now I suppose I’ll have a hell of a job to get anymore, I’m supposed to be going back to Perth in a couple of weeks but not at this rate, I’d never be able to do the 5.1/2 hour drive.

Good morning ladies, nice sunny morning here. Roxy hope you get some more antibiotics. Vacuuming done washing out on the line. Getting my nails done unless I’ve got the day mixed up.

Paula it is lovely here too.
Hope you feel a lot better soon,Roxy
May enjoy your jaunt to the library and hope you have the right day for your nails, Jess Lol!
Doesn’t the sunshine make everything seem better. Enjoy the rest of your day everyone.

Good Afternoon a’ You lovely Scottish People :grinning:

Aye the sun always makes Me feel so much better Bonnie, and I got in & out of the library in jigtime to get back Home into the garden to soak up some rays while it’s still here,

Met an auld Neghbour when I was up the street and We had a wee blether about old times,She mentioned ‘leaving the door on the sneck’ which made Me laugh as I’ve not heard or used that word for years…So thought I’d put up a ‘Scottish word of the day’
SLEEKIT
to describe somebody as being of an extremely oleoginous nature: slimey, sly, weasel like,

Give Your anti-biotics a wee bit more time to work Roxy and I’m sure You’ll feel better soon,x

There’s a few sleekit scunners around May, both off and online. You know what I mean. :zipper_mouth_face: :zipper_mouth_face: :zipper_mouth_face: :zipper_mouth_face:

Good morning Paula, May and all in Club Scotland.

I will post again with a reply in a few days, when I have translated all those Scottish words!
All words fascinate me but how on earth do you remember those words and Scottish English too,
back next week, possibly! :grinning:
