it’s stripy and has big round eyes, it’s about 2 inches long…is it some sort of caterpillar
Looks like it is Paula.
Definitely looks like some kind of fancy caterpillar, Paula.
Hope you get the antibiotics soon Roxy and get on the mend.
Glad I read that before I posted! Said get on the men’s instead of mend lol!
Good evening everybody, was in town today for a massage. Roxy glad you got the antibiotics delivered. Really warm here today and as usual all the visitors were in town. Train station was really busy when I got off the train.
hope you’re feeling better Roxy, after 7pm now and the sky’s still blue, not a cloud in sight…
Good Morning People,a wee bit cooler today…
(I said the same yesterday morn’ and it turned out to be another scorcher)
No plans for the day, just take it as it comes.
Good morning May and all the Scottish members!
Grey and overcast here today, quite chilly too, autumn is just around the corner. Perhaps you had better get the sun lounger ready May, just in case it’s another scorcher!
Grey skies here this morning, hope the sun breaks through, it’s supposed to unless they’re telling lies…have a good day all…
Well Baz the forecast says it will be around 19* this afternoon…just warm & comfortable enough for Me to use the lounger…25* and I’m indoors hiding from it,
Our weather is very fickle,I’ve known it to be pouring with rain at the front of My house, and bone dry at the back
Good morning everybody. Overcast here at the moment. Hope the sun is going to come out, going into town to meet a friend for lunch and I want to wear a dress.
Morning Everyone, Sun’s just come out and it’s really hot, not even a cooling breeze off the sea. I’ve had 4 of my antibiotic pills now and it’s loosening that awful mucus also the tonsil swelling is going down. I guess I do kind of feel a bit better BUT the tiredness is overwhelming, after the men get lunch I’m away back to bed for a couple of hours. I don’t understand why I’m so shattered and at such a low ebb.
Who’d have thought a throat infection would leave me like this. Anyway enjoy your day people, I should be down in Perth now for a couple of weeks and I had things arranged with family and friends. HAH, Not a hope in hell of that.
Afternoon all sorry you are still not feeling well .Roxy. These infections take a lot out of you. It’s hard when you are normally such an active person but best to rest and take your time getting back to normal.
Just getting ready to go to my daughters to get the kids after school.
Had a really bad nosebleed this morning but feeling ok now.
Enjoy your lunch Jess.
Everyone have a good day.
Yes May, that temperature would be about right for me. Much beyond 23ºC and with high humidity that’s me finished!
I’ve just seen on the lunchtime weather news that places like Scotland have had more sunshine than they often have, while the rest of the country has had up to 50% more rain than usual. It’s been blamed on global warming, apparently.
All very strange but there’s vey little we can do about it either.
Roxy, these infections can knock you for six, don’t try to fight it , there’s a reason for feeling washed out, it’s so that you have to rest…take it east girl
Afternoon All,another hot one here and I dozed off briefly outside on the lounger,
Aye Paula’s right Rox,rest and plenty of fluids is what You need…any time I’ve had a chest/throat infection,it’s taken around 3 weeks for Me to fully recover with or without anti-biotics…
All I can say is…Thank Heavens I bought that Cubii, I get himself to drag it over to my chair in the evening and I can use it for a half hour or so, I have lessened the resistance a bit though to make it easier. It was this kind of inactive life that had me screaming in pain last year if you remember, it buggered up my Sciatic nerve and I had to go to the Chiropractor to get it fixed, no swimming means PAIN.
Good evening everybody. Roxy hope your starting to feel better by now. I remember you felt really bad last year because you couldn’t go swimming. May I’m the same used to love the sun I now hide in the shade. Bonnie sorry to hear you had a nosebleed this morning. Baz we’re enjoying the sunshine. Wore my dress today and met my friend for lunch, we went to the Merchant City, then sat in George Square with a glass of wine, one of the streets has been blocked off to traffic. It was nice sitting there watching the world go by.
Baz we’re enjoying the sunshine.
Hope you don’t get too sunburned, with all that rain in the past your
‘fair skins’ will just not be used to sunshine!
Baz I always wear a hat and suncream, and don’t sit out to long in the sun.
