Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

Roxy you did a good job on Daegus . That’s the one thing I’ve missed this year seeing the lambs out in the fields. Pixie what kind of dog do you Have ? Really cold wind out there today I had to wear my hat when I came out the hairdressers.

Jess, I have a Border Terrier. Completely adorable, but her coat needs hand stripped every April & September. She’s what they call “blown” right now, which means she is so hairy that she looks like a raggle taggle “street dog”. She fights with us when we try to strip her ourselves so she badly needs a groomers!

How did your haircut go? Are you feeling more like you, now?

Pixie that sounds a lovely dog. It wont be long now till the groomers open up again for business. I didn’t get my hair cut today that’s this coming Friday. I do feel a lot better having someone blow dry if for me.

Glad your back in the hairdressers chair Jess, I know how often you like to visit, me it’s been over a year since I was in one. :002: My mane is long and wild, just how I like it.
Very dark sky over Dunnet Beach think we’re in for a storm.
Not going out again today, too bally cold.

Cracking photo Roxy!

Yes its freezing here still…its managed to edge up to 4 degrees so far and think that’s the warmest it will be today. Haven’t done a darn thing yet…only got dressed about an hour ago! Bad me. :frowning:

Good Afternoon Folks, cloudy, hailstanes, sunshine here, and very very cauld,

I haven’t been in a hairdressers for years as I just got fed up with Them not cutting/styling it the way I wanted…so…I bought hairdressers scissors and do My Own…easy as it’s short and straight so snip off an inch or so every few weeks…sorted :-p

My youngest Daughter and I shared a big hug outside in the garden in the freezing wind on Sunday…first in a year,a few tears, but We both feel the better for it.Hope Springs Eternal

morning ladies, another cold biting wind out there, might make some tablet today…

my brain must be frozen, I wrote that last message this morning and forgot to post…auld age…

Tell Me about it Paula…It’s a long long time since I made tablet too, nothing quite like the home-made stuff is there :-p

Good afternoon ladies. 4 degrees here today. May I bet you and your daughter really enjoyed your hug on Sunday. Been to the shops and I’m for the day, going to hang some towels out and let the wind blow them.

Good afternoon ladies. A bit warmer than yesterday thank goodness. Got another washing out today, just love when I can do that. Had a nice walk as well when I was out and enjoyed it.

Evening ladies…its been chilly but dry where I am. Its been a day of feeling busy but not really getting much done, by the looks of things! Ah well, I can catch up tomorrow - its meant to be pouring down.

Good morning ladies. Pixie I think we’re all doing the same thing at the moment. Grey skies here at the moment so will do some ironing and change my bed.

Morning, Just, Still freezing cold winds here along with massive waves and crashing seas. BUT, it’s dry and that’s all I can say for it.
Was at the Chiropractor first thing then into town for some messages. Unless Himself needs me for anything this afternoon, I’m stopping in with my jigsaw and audio book.

Morning (or afternoon as its 8 mins past 12…and I’m still not dressed!) What a lazy person I have become - when I was working I was up at 6, washed, dressed , breakfast and catching the train at 7.30! Good job Mr P takes the dog out early doors. Its cold and cloudy today. Bits and bobs of housework and sorting out will do me I think. Also a session on the Wiifit, followed by a long walk with the dog will sparkle my day

Afternoon everyone, been to Tesco for a few things, been raining and windy all morning

Good afternoon ladies. Did a bit of shopping and caught the local bus home. My niece and her daughter came down for a visit. She also fixed a few things for me on my laptop.

Afternoon, A bit better weather wise today, got a load of washing on the ropes to dry. Not 100% today so stopping at home.
I see Prince Philip has passed away, kind of been expecting this since he went into hospital a few weeks back. Poor Queenie.

What a lovely afternoon it is! I have been busy and proactive today - the sunshine always energises me. Poor Queen - I do feel sorry for her, despite not being a huge fan of the royals. Its still a shock to hear the news though. Hope you are all having a good day

Good evening ladies. Sorry to hear about Prince Phillip, but he didn’t look to well when he came out of hospital. Out early this morning to catch the 8 30 train to Glasgow. Had my hair cut and coloured and feel a lot better for it. Went to M&S and got a few things in there.
