Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

Jess were there queues at the likes of M&S…I can’t wait to get into a shop that’s not a supermarket…

What colour is your hair, Jess? There are queues outside the barbers over here…not the ladies, of course, because we have appointments

Paula, I think M&S are the only place to still do a queuing system - more power to them. I would rather go to an organised shop than a free for all - even now. Maybe I’m still paranoid though, heh…!

Good morning ladies. Pixie my colour is probably a dark ash blonde. I used to be a brunette. I didn’t want it dyed black as its horrible when your older. Paula M&S wasn’t to bad the only thing is a lot of their freezers are closed off at the moment. Sunny and cold here and I’m off to the chiropodist later.

Good Morning Folks,a very cold sunny frosty one here but pleasant for a walk,

Have cooked a gammon joint overnight in the slow cooker,so will use the stock to make soup later, then have some with pot’s & veg for dinner…plenty left over for salads & sandwiches through the week,

Hope all are well and looking forward to a bit more freedom soon,

Afternoon! Its turned cold and cloudy here, so I’m staying in. Pottering about tidying up and…and…not much else, ha! Nothing on TV, so maybe I’ll just read. Jess, I dyed my hair black once when in my twenties - heavens knows what I was thinking, as it was short and spiky. I looked awful when I see the photos now, but at the time I thought I was so cool

Afternoon All, Started off not bad here but now it’s sleet showers. My hair was so dark it was almost black since the day I was born, but now it’s light brown with silver streaks. I like it both ways.

Pixie when I was in my late teens I dyed my hair black, and my dad didn’t recognise me, and I quite liked it …there was a short snow shower earlier and it’s a bit colder now…

May I used to love doing a gammon joint in the oven. Pouring pinnapple juice over to give it taste.I tried to dye my hair black at fifteen it never took. Bought the Daily Record in the co op for the television magazine, no magazine. That’s the second time its happened so wont be buying the paper in there again.

Jess that happens often in our co op…Hubby always has a look inside to make sure it’s there, (the magazine that is ) Lovely sunny day here, but some small clouds are gathering.

Paula I’m not the only one then, I usually do look inside to see if the magazine is inside. Sunny with blue skies here so going to hang out some washing when its done.

Hello everyone. Its chilly but sunny - feel colder inside than out though, its really nice in the sunshine. Not doing much today other than sorting out some books - can’t wait until the charity shops open up again, I have lots to offload to them, heh!

Grey skies here at the moment, hope I don’t have to dash out to bring the washing in. Just back from the shops and its busy out there. Cars still coming in on the Greenock Road.

Evening, Had a sore day today am going to see if I can get a decent walk tomorrow this bad weather has had me lounging around too much. I can’t wait for the pool to reopen, I’ll be in Perth on the 26th but I’ll swim there as my house is only a couple of minutes away from the leisure centre.
I’m sure the lack of swimming brought on my sciatica problems. I didn’t realise just how fit it was keeping me.

Morning, Wall to wall blue sky this morning, but had a heavy frost last night. Beach walk this morning then over to the castle reef to see some of the surfing championship competition that’s going on. Have a nive day everyone.

Morning ladies! Chilly today but sunny. Off to the park with Diva Dog to try and get used to people before everything opens up in a couple of weeks. Have a lovely day

morning all, blue sky and sunny here, but then that’s what it was like yesterday, till the mist and snow started, don’t know what I’ll be doing today…enjoy your day

Apparently there is a couple from England coming up here to Scotland to get married on Wednesday! This really annoys me…we are still under lockdown restrictions until the 26th April, so how come they can travel and do their thing when we have to stay within our council area?

Good afternoon ladies. I thought I’d posted this morning. Another sunny day here, been to Greenock to Tesco. Pixie I don’t know how the couple will get away with coming up here to Scotland. I cant travel to Glasgow but they are all coming down here.

Good morning ladies. Grey skies here this morning, just stepped out the door of the hairdressers and it started spitting rain. Luckily enough the local was passing and I got on that. Some housework today and then a walk.

Afternoon, Cold n sunny here and the ground in the woods is drying up nicely. I’m off for my 2nd jag this afternoon, wee bit worried about it as I was quite poorly for a while after the last one. Great bit of News though…The Travel Ban is lifting on Friday. I can go to Perth. WHOO HOOO.
