Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

Morning, Bright and sunny here but the winds really cold, will get the washing dry though. Sorted out the stables yesterday and was hoping to get into the garden this afternoon. That wind may stop me though it’s freezing, it may drop but we’ll see. It a day for take it as it comes…

Afternoon ladies, wet cold and miserable today, …happy mothers day to all mothers out there

Happy Mothers Day ladies. Paula the weather was the same here today. I did go out for a Sunday paper and was glad to get home for a heat.

Morning, It’s started off fine n sunny with very little wind, hope it stays like this and I’ll get started on tidying up the garden.
Heading off with the dog shortly for our walk then housework till lunch time. Have a nice day.

Morning all - beautiful day here it seems! Loving the sunshine. Going to try and stay out for a while (with and without the dog). Have a lovely day

same here ,blue sky sun out and very little wind

Good morning. Started off sunny here but now clouding over. A bit of shopping and housework for me today.

Morning, Fabby day here and I’m going to be a lazy mare and put the lounger in a sheltered spot and enjoy the warm sun on me. Listen to my audio book too AND my phone can stay in the house…I’m not in.
Have a nice day ladies.

Afternoon…I’m heading out with the dog, then doing some shopping. Staying out for as long as possible and making the most of the sunshine! Never know when it’ll happen again, ha! Have a lovely day.

Good afternoon. Been to the shops and treated myself to some flowers. Cleaned the front door and windows. Going to have some lunch and get out and enjoy the sunshine.

Shops opening 5th April (including hairdressers). Travel restrictions on mainland Scotland lifted 26th April. SO excited!!:041::041::041::041::041::041:

Pixie my hairdresser has just phoned with an appointment. The 9 th of April at 10 30 am. I have to travel to get there but I don’t care. Getting my nails done on the 26th of April unless she lets them open earlier.

I want to get the travel restrictions lifted as I want to go down to Perth to my own home for a while. Also desperate to return to the swimming pool, but have to go into hospital first, next week, to get a beastly “pyogenic granuloma” removed from my big toe…shudder.

Jess - well done! You will feel like a new person  I don’t see why nails & beauty have to wait? Its still the same “close contact” isn’t it?

Roxy - that looks and sounds sore, poor you! (I looked it up). Heal quickly and get swimming again

Pixie, It’s not sore just really annoying as it bleeds a lot if it gets knocked. It’s in an awkward place on my big toe so it rubs on the toe next to it. I have it covered with a gause dressing to try and keep it safe, but it does bleed at times. Will be so glad to get shot of it. I’ve never had bother with my feet before except for an ingrown toenail and that was sorted years ago.

How long have you had to endure this Roxy? I hope to goodness its not been the length of lockdown!

No, it came up very suddenly 3 weeks ago.I landed up with the emergency nurse in the middle of the night. Blood was everywhere and we couldn’t stop it. So himself phoned NHS 24, she got it stopped and bandaged, told me I had to get in touch with my GP in the morning, he saw the photos of it the nurse took and got me in as an emergency patient. They operate next week.
I’d post a photo of it but it’s not nice.

Wow, that must have been so scary for you both! Heavens…you’ll be so glad its done and dusted. From what I’m reading they can appear anywhere on the body. Its just rotten luck yours had to be at a constant point of contact. Still, once they get it fixed, you’ll be up and about for the pools opening.

Yes I hope so, just keep your fingers crossed nothing goes wrong, like the operation gets cancelled or some other pesky thing.

Roxy you’ll be glad to get the operation over with. Then you can get back to your swimming again. Pixie I cant wait to get my eyebrows and upper lip waxed as well.
