Good morning ladies. A bit grey looking here this morning at the moment. Tesco delivery had everything I ordered so I can take it easy for a few days regarding shopping.
Cool and windy here. Zoom chat with Grans group at 11 then the big shop. Feels like a very busy day compared to normal boring life these days
Morning, Landed up in bed around noon yesterday, felt awful dizzy, sick, and like I was going to pass out. Slept for hours. Himself was a sweetie and got his own dinner and let the dog out. When I woke my arm was killing me and was all swollen where the needle for the jag went in. Feel a lot better today, arm still sore but not as much. Didnāt realise the jag would affect me like thatā¦sheeeze. Having an easy day.
Morning everyone (or afternoon as it is now) Roxy, that sounds pretty dreadful, but Iām glad you are feeling better! Hopefully the second jag will be a breeze
Iām just back from the dentist, shaking like a leaf I was! I really am phobic about them, and wiggled about on the chair saying āDonāt touch it, donāt touch it!ā Poor man must have thought I was 5 years old! Got some anti biotics, and an appointment for next week for an extraction.
It was clean enough, with everyone wearing PPE, but the receptionist had a shocking cold. I sanitised to within in an inch of my life, believe me!
Good afternoon. Roxy sorry to hear the jag had such a bad effect on you, glad your feeling better. Jane my niece tried a zoom meeting at New Year but Iām hopeless with links. Pixie Iām not fond of the dentist either. Raining here at the moment so might dress for it and go for a walk.
Afternoon Each,a dry mild one here so far, went to Tesco first thing this morning and it was empty,so took My time wandering around the aisles
for a change,
Hope You feel better soon Rox,it took Me a couple of days but I think itās affected My memory,as I was wakened yesterday morning with a text from Youngest Daughter saying āHappy Birthday Mum,Daveās left a bunch of flowers and a card at Your front door on His way to workā
ā¦Nae Birthday lunch/dinner/gallivant around the City shops as We usually do :-(ā¦oh well, when this is over! Birthdays & Christmas will be celebrated at the same time.
Yes May, I think weāll be celebrating ,catching up on all the birthdays and Christmas weāve missed tooā¦Roxy, I hope youāre feeling better, itās not a nice feeling .still cold here and been raining. One of the hinges is broken on the cupboard door so we went to buy a couple of new ones, when we got home O.H. was looking in the big cupboard where he keeps all his tools, and what do you think he found there, just a plastic bag full of hingesā¦typicalā¦
Sorry you had such a bad reaction to the jag Roxy. Sounds awful. Was it the AZ one?
The Zoom session went well. 9 of us this time. It was my turn to host so we had a conversation game. The first question was about peopleās worst holidays. Well we heard some awful stories!! Good fun session.
Must do some cleaning tomorrow after all that frivolity.
Belated Happy Birthday May. You are right. Weāll really celebrate next birthday and Christmas.
Do you think people will have all the memorial services promised? Sorry to introduce a sad topic.
Belated Happy Birthday May. It will be celebrations for everybody when we can finally meet up with family and friends. Walked into town to get a few things and down came the rain. I caught the local bus home and put my feet up.
We were awoken at 7:10 this morning by the boiler people banging at the door. I know they said theyād be early but not that early! I sent Dh to answer the door, I didnāt want to be seen in ma goonie! The work seems to be progressing well.
My cats take turns to sit in front of the fan heater, Jane. One of them turns himself round so that all sides get toasted equally.
Sorry to hear about the poorly tooth and the bad reaction to the jag. Not fun. My dd is a very, very junior doctor and she had a bad reaction to her second (Pfizer) dose which lasted five or six days.
My jag was all very well organised this morning, apart from the heavens opening as I got there. I feel a bit lightheaded now, not sure if itās the jag or the rude awakening this morning!
Yes Iāve felt better as the day wore on, Iām back to normal now except for a wee bit of discomfort in the arm but the swelling has gone down a lot. I think it must be a 24 hour thing, but what a 24 hours
I got the Oxford vaccine and my date for the next dose is 13th April, 8 weeks away, itās made me uneasy about the next jag but Iāll go for it and hope to hell thereās not a repeat performance.
Good morning ladies. Not very nice here this morning so wont be going very far. Roxy hope your feeling a lot better this morning. Sue I wouldnāt like to be wakened at that time of the morning either.
Sue it gives you a start when youāre wakened like that, how are you feeling today Roxy, hubby has a trip to the dentist this morning. wet and windyā¦
Morning - I did post here but the internet in its wisdom, decided to drop the internet for a moment. or two. Just going to repot a few plants today and tidy up. Its too wet and wild for Diva Dog, so Iāll be laying the puppy pads out again, until it clears up enough for madam to place her paws outside sigh
Morning, Wild, Windy and cold here along with non stop rain all night. Sheeeze getting fed up of this weather. I canāt wait to be complaining that itās too hot for me again.
Iām back to normal today and fussing around looking for things to do as I canāt get outside. Dog got a short walk much to his disgust but tough Iām not traipsing around getting soaked. Have a nice day ladiesā¦
Wet and windy here too. I feel like Iāve already put in a full working day and all Iāve done is have a shower and hoovered (most of) the house! Iāll have to do some form of exercise before I slump in front of the TV.
Sorry to hear about the big reaction to the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine. I had it last week to absolutely no reaction. Maybe Iāll know all about it after the second one. Oh dear.
Good afternoon ladies. Weather is the same here havenāt been out the door. Niece coming down for a visit, so I asked her to get me bread and milk.
Itās been wild here, too. Lots of flooding from the meltwaters. Luckily, I only needed to make a brief trip out.
Just as well, as Iāve felt pretty rough today. The chills hit me last night just as I went to bed and I woke with a humdinger of a headache this morning. Iāve felt flu-ey and tired all day and have had two granny naps!
Still, eyes on the prize, I hope itās just the antibodies doing their thing.
PS Iāve just discover the emoticons on here!
Sue I hope how youāre feeling doesnāt last long, I had the dizziness and nausea and shivering for a day, long enough but worth it if itās going to protect us, iām still having those naps, but I enjoy themā¦
