SueDonim our vaccine appointment was for 16.47!
However, we were just seen as we arrived. We’d gone early as not sure of the location.
Typical - boiler fixed just as the weather improves. Good that it’s done though.
Had my jag it was the Oxford one and I’m back in 8 weeks on April 13th for the second one. Didn’t have to wait 15 minutes either, just 5 minutes while the nurse told me a few things about the vaccine, then asked if I felt ok and I said yes, so I was told I could leave.
Roxy that’s good news your going back in eight weeks for your second jag. I was told twelve weeks for my second jag.
Yes Jess it was a surprise to me too, in fact the whole episode was a surprise from start to finish, So well planned and run it was excellent. Hope the next one is the same.
May I got your email, thanks for the information. I’ll answer tomorrow when I can get back on the desk computer, instead of the phone with it’s tiny wee keyboard.
I made a mistake about my vaccine time, it’s 9:18! I could have ended up getting there a minute too early.
That sounds like a win, Paula. We’ve got an added complication in that water has got into the oil tank, so the contents have to be pumped out into a supplementary tank, ‘cleaned’ of water, the tank itself cleaned and then the oil put back in. The water in there has been frozen solid for about three weeks so heaven knows what’ll happen when they disturb it.
Maybe I should book a hotel for a couple of nights…
I think you should SueDonim. This is a rotten time of year for those sorts of shenanigans!
My cats, though. Can’t abandon them. They’re so needy.
Of course! You can’t leave the cats. I hadn’t realised you had any. I wouldn’t dream of leaving our old boy under those circumstances.
Morning ladies, hope all is well. My jaw hurts like all heck this morning…dunno what I have done. Dreading a potential dentist visit. Anyway, it looks quite nice outside and I have shopping coming later. Have a nice day however you spend it.
Good morning early birds,it’s a sunny, showery, windy, mild one here,so may attempt to hang the bedding out on the line, what I’ll get up to after that gawd knows, may do a bit o’ cooking for the freezer, that’ll be as exciting as it gets :-p
Cheers Rox,catch Ye later
Maybe you had stressful dreams and ground your teeth in the night? I sometimes have that. Or did you crunch up a hard sweet or something similar yesterday?
Good morning everybody. Dry here at the moment so a bit of housework and then go for a walk later. Have a Tesco delivery tonight between 8 and 9 pm.
Jane, You can’t delete the post only the Mods can. Just back space through all you want to remove and write “Deleted” then post that. :-).
Morning All, Apart from the blooming cold wind it’s a nice day, dry and sunny. You can feel a wee bit of heat in the sun now, we’re getting there.
Hoofed through the forest with the dog and now for egg on toast and a big mug of frothy coffee. Have a nice day…
Afternoon Each, aye weather the same here and the washing is blowing merrily on the line,so must bring it in as It’ll be dry now…first time this Year.
You’ve just started getting Your online groceries delivered Jessie, and I’ve given up doing it after almost a year…The last delivery was just before Christmas, and when I looked through the lists over the Months I noticed
every order had biscuits/crisps/MAGNUMS/icecream/sweets/chocolate/cake…shocked …so decided to unplug the laptop and put it away in its case and that’s where it stayed
until this week when I had to plug it in to send in My meter readings…I think I’ve lost a few lbs,so I’ve just been going to Tesco once a week, and walking to the local shops for odds n ends…I give the biscuit/crisps/sweets aisles a body swerve now :-p…hope I can keep it up .
Jane 10, they’re a couple of rescue Russian Blues, daft as brushes, not a brain cell between them. :-))).
It’s a nice day here in NE Scotland and the snow has almost gone! Unfortunately, the sun is showing up just how dirty the outside of my windows are. We haven’t seen the window cleaner for weeks and weeks, so I hope he turns up soon.
Was that for me, Jane? I think its a gum infection to be honest. It needs antibiotics, and the doctor says I have to see a dentist. The dentist is shut today, so I don’t know what I’m doing right now. It doesn’t hurt as in jaggy pain, its more of a dull ache and I can’t touch my face where its happening. I’m more concerned with catching Covid really. I want it to go away without me having to do anything - such a wimp! ![]()
May its my niece doing the ordering for me. Foodstuff that I like and heavy things like soap powder and bleach. No crisps or biscuits I just buy them here. Pixie lets hope the anti biotics do the trick. Sue I’ve never heard of Russian Blues.
Sue I hope you get your heating fixed soon,we take it for granted until something goes wrong. have any of you who has had the jab had a swollen
arm, I don’t mean at the site of the needle, my o h had his on saturday and today his forearm is a bit swollen ,not painful though.
Pixie yes it was for you. Bad luck. Toothache is awful. I had a tooth out in the Autumn and was very impressed at the Covid precautions they took at the dentists.
SueDonim my brain surgeon of a cat is currently happily curled up in front of the emergency oil heater which hasn’t been on for days meanwhile the ‘real flames’ electric fan heater is on and glowing away.
