Evenin’ All,and Hi Wildswan, nice to see You here…Well I live 8 Mls from Glasgow and I can assure Ye it aint warm here, still some snow in the garden but certainly the temp’ has risen a lot…but I’m not discarding My Liberty Bodice yet or any other cloot
Ooh, I’ve managed to find this thread again! I really need a sat-nav to help me find my way around this website. Thankfully, I’m not as ditsy as this when finding my way round in a car.
We’ve had so much snow but it’s now disappearing at an incredible speed. It’s like all the snow drifts are deflating rather than melting. Weird.
Paula, we’re hoping to have a new boiler installed, possibly this week. Dh phoned the installers today to ask whether it had been delivered to them yet. ‘Oh yes,’ said the boss, ‘It’s here in my office!’
Hi all. Glad you found us again SueDonim. I’m still in bed so no idea what the weather’s like except it sounds windy. Another boring day in prospect after the excitement of soup making yesterday!
Have we all had our vaccinations? I’m so glad of mine and counting the many weeks plus two weeks after dose 2 when we an go for a birthday barbecue with my daughter and family. Something to really look forward to.
Hello everyone! Driech day outside, but sunshine later yaay! Nicola Sturgeon is supposed to be giving a little update regarding dates of easing the lockdown today, so that will be a thing to look forward to. Have a lovely day everybody
Good Morning Each,a fine dry one here and a bit o’ blue sky so a nice walk to the CO-OP for some fresh fruit n veg is on the cards then make a pot o’ soup,
Had the vacc’ a couple of weeks ago no painful arm,but woke in the middle of the night shivering, shaking, teeth chattering and a banging headache, felt under the weather for another day, then back to normal!
Will have a listen to what the FM has to say as usual, probably mainly about the Schools going back,
Have a good day all and stay safe,x
Good morning ladies. Hi Sue welcome back. May I had a sore arm and that was it gone by the next day. Sun is trying to come out here at the moment. So some breakfast and off to the shops for a few things.
Morning ladies, sunny but rather breezy here. Looking forward to my vaccination on Thursday lunchtime at EICC - which is much better than the appointment I was sent requiring my presence at Ingliston at 8.15 a.m. That one would have required a bus, a tram and a taxi both ways!
I am intending to binge watch the Duchess of Duke Street today - I can’t believe I first saw it in 1976!
Blimey Wildswan Ingliston at 8.15!! We had ours at Ingliston at a civilised hour. We were glad went there though. The young soldiers were very efficient and friendly. It was good that your were able to change. I heard that EICC was huge with 60 booths. We had 9.
Not sure what I’ll binge watch this PM but I’m sure I’ll be binge watching something!!
Have a good day all.
Hi Everyone, not a bad day, got some sun but still very cold with a howling wind. Walked the dog then into town for some bits n bobs. Got my vaccination this afternoon, hope to hell it all goes well.
We had a wonderful sky last night, just had to take a couple of pics.

Beautiful photos Roxy
Oh wow, Northern Lights? I adore them and really want to catch a glimpse of them at some point this year. I think they are magical Thanks for sharing, Roxy!
Thanks Mags, I never tire of them.
Pixie, they are very common up here, always different and you never know what colour they will be. I love when they dance and swirl around you like a live thing.
Amazing photos. How wonderful to be able to see the northern lights. People pay fortunes to travel to see them.
Not to hijack the thread at all, but I just wanted to share this link to a Northern Lights live stream cam. I was looking at this yesterday.
https://explore.org/livecams/currently-live/northern-lights-cam
Lovely, I didn’t know that link existed. We seldom get the blues n pinks like that. Ours mostly have the greens, purples and the odd red n gold.
Wow. Just wow. What a treat to be able to walk out of your door and see the northern lights.
Afternoon all, great pic’s of the Northern Lights Lassies,
Hope all goes well with Your vaccine Rox,don’t worry,I’ve spoken to a few of My Neighbours/Relatives who’ve had the Astrazeneca jag,and most have had very mild to moderate symptoms which only last a day or two,
It’s a fab’ fresh sunny Afternoon here and I’ve opened the back & front doors to let the air circulate around the bung’…I see the grass is growing but I’ll desist from getting the mower out :-p
Great photos Roxy. Been to the co op for a few things and made a pot of soup. Roxy hope all goes well the jag. We got the Phizer jag here not seen any of my neighbours to see if they had any after effects;
I’m getting my jag on Thursday morning, 9:17. Very precise timing! At least the mountains of snow should be gone by then.
Beautiful photos of the lights, Roxy. They always seem magical, even though we know what causes them!
Roxy gorgeous photos, hope all you girls getting your jabs will be fine , Sue
the heating guy came to the house on thursday ,ordered the boiler and whatever else was needed, on friday, started the job yesterday, and finished today about 1 pm.left everything tidy, registered the boiler for 10 year guarantee and he will service it every year for us…
