Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

Morning, Monday again, but a lot warmer one than the past few, the rain has shifted a lot of the snow but I think it’ll be another couple of days before it’s gone. Dog walking and shopping this morning, horse grooming this afternoon and general house work stuff. Nowt exciting.

Morning Roxy, feeling better I hope?

Been up since 4 - feeling great now but I’ll be crashing by lunchtime. Its far too warm to do anything now bar wash the windows maybe.

Have a nice day all

Morning Pixie, Yes I feel much better today. That sleep yesterday was well needed and I slept fine through the night too.

There’s nothing like a good night’s sleep! Gosh Pixie, up at 4? You certainly will crash out sooner rather than later.
The temperature is noticeably higher today. I couldn’t believe so much snow could disappear overnight. Fine by me as long as the remnants don’t turn to ice.
Highlight of my day? I’m making leek and potato soup later. Whoopee!

I’m blaming the dog, Jane - she was too warm last night and simply couldn’t settle. She is happily sofa snoozing now though, so its all good. I might have a nap later! Your soup sounds delicious

Good morning ladies. Roxy sorry that May wont be back, glad to hear she is ok otherwise. Pixie the only time I would be up at that time is I was going to the airport. Jane you cant be to careful nowadays regarding money. Feels a lot warmer here today so will get out for a walk later.

Morning Each, the bad penny has turned up again

Took Your advice Rox

Thanks Jessie…due the next jag at the end of April if all goes according to plan

Hi everyone it’s nice to feel it’s warming up a bit…I can’t do much today as the heating guy is here putting a new boiler in…hope you all have a nice day

Oh my …he pulled the washing machine out to turn the water off…something I couldn’t.t manage…wow the dirt that was behind it…so now it’s had a good wash…

I’m just back from a walk and I’m boiling!! The change in temperature is amazing. I’m thinking of jettisoning my semmit!!

Now now, Jane…Ne’er cast a cloot til mays oot. You know what Scottish weather is like!

I have just watched a young lady on the river pathway - sat down on a bench and proceeded to take off her jacket and is now sitting in her T shirt sunning herself and reading a book. Yesterday the path was covered in snow and ice!

Wildswan its not that warm here yet. Jane my granny used to say don’t cast a cloot till May is out. Paula you’ll probably feel the house a lot warmer with a new boiler, at least its not as cold outside.
