I hope everyone has recovered from those unpleasant side effects.
Another boring day in prospect. I might do some dusting. Possibly go for a walk but it’s not looking very promising outside. I like to walk on grass - nicer for my joints but it’s still very muddy. What I usually do is walk round our extended block listening to old comedy programmes on my phone (with ear pieces). I’m currently working through old episodes of ‘Round the Horn’. It’s often quite outrageous. I don’t know how they got away with it! People I pass must wonder who this strange snorting woman is!
Morning everyone…bit of sunshine here off and on, but still wet. Doing some cooking for the freezer today - I love a Saturday when the kitchen is all mine again! Have a lovely day

Its becomes an office for Mr P, Jane! He is working from home, with zoom meetings, calls and general office stuff so I can’t get in until about 4pm

Morning Ladies, I’m really angry this morning. I was woken up just after 7.30 by my phone ringing, at that time it can only be one of the family in bother so I rushed to answer it. It was a recorded message saying there was a warrant out for my arrest because of fraud and to press 1 to talk to the officer dealing with it, if I didn’t press 1 then the warrant would be used at once and they would be round to arrest me. I was in shock and still half asleep so I just hung up. I mean how bloody dare they at that time of the morning. I’m still waiting for them to come and arrest me or more likely phone back, and when they do I will press 1 and boy is someone in for a blasting. Ggggrrrrrr.
Been along the beach and done an early shop so now having a coffee AND, I’m still shaking with rage.

I’m sorry you had to deal with this at that ungodly time, Roxy! No wonder you are raging. I wouldn’t press one if I were you - you never know what that connects to. They are probably checking to see if its an active line. Hope your day gets better!

Afternoon People,a stinking dreich wet one here :shock: and I just can’t be arsed doing anything…SIL left My carpet shampooer I’d lent to His Mum months ago,outside the door the other morning,but My mojo aint working so it’s still sitting in the hall where I left it!
Jeeze Rox what a scare and Jane’s right,don’t press anything if They call again,just hang up,…The only time My landline rings is if I don’t answer texts/calls from Family on the mob’,so one of Them rings to see if I’m still alive :-p
I seem to be sleeping longer these mornings,so when I awake as usual after 7/8 hours sleep,I’v started turning over for another 2hrs or so…weird…I can’t be tired as I’m doing bugger all to tire Me out…boredom Methinks

Apart from a sore arm, I seem to have recovered from the jag now. I’m glad I had it on Thu as they’ve now temporarily stopped the programme here due to supply issues. People have been turning up at the vaccination centre for their appointments today only to find it closed. There was no notification to anyone.
It’s raining here but we’re into double digit temperatures for the first time since it was minus fifteen last week! :-))
After thinking about what you said I went and blocked the number. Told my son when we were on the phone and he said…Answer no numbers you don’t know, if it’s genuine they will leave a message, if not google “who called me” then block if need be. So that’s what I’m going to to do from now on.
May I’m back in the Hot Seat again, was only going to do it to let the new ones see what’s what, but as I’m number 7 I can pull out if I want.

Roxy I’ve had those calls supposed to be amazon prime account, 02 texts saying I’d used most of time contact us and we will add more air time. Aye right, you cant be up to them. May I’m the same had a good sleep last night but had a nap this afternoon. Jane they were supposed to be going more vaccinations here tomorrow but as there is roadworks they have delayed till Wednesday. Got a taxi home from the shops as it was wet and windy.
Aye I see the ‘hot seat’ is operating again,it can be good fun if the participants have a sense of humour

Roxy I get these calls too, it’s usually an asian voice…not human , the last time they called(from amazon)…I told them they had reached Ayr police station and I was sergeant Jones how can I help you…and they hung up.surely there’s something that can be done about these low life.
Pixie I wouldn’t presume to volunteer for the hot seat. I’m too much of a newbie.
I think that’s why they brought it back - because there were a lot of new sign ups, and they want to make sure we aren’t going to run riot! It looks like fun, and I signed up for a few weeks from now. I am surprised at myself actually because I’m not usually one for things like that. Especially online :shock:
