From what I’ve heard on the news,you are quite right gumbud. We in Scotland shouldn’t complain really. Today has started dry and sunny. High winds and rain forecast for later though. Plenty of variety weatherwise for sure !

Yip.a day for not doing much,so I’ve been adding a wee bit to My Memoirs,reading a Mark Billingham book titled ‘The bones beneath’, cooking a juicy (I hope) steak for a late lunch,and faffing about on 'ere…aint Life grand :-p

That’s great that you’re doing that May. I think we all wish we knew more about our parents, grandparents etc. after they have passed on. A great shame more folk don’t put pen to paper and record stuff. It may be run of the mill stuff to us now, but it may be of great interest to those who follow. Well done ! Thanks.
