Hi folks. Back home again from the bothy. Thanks May, yes I was warm and snug. Sadly for most of the time I was in the clouds. (Better than being away with the Fairies I suppose ??) It’s in a valley that’s quite high up in the middle of nowhere. Everything saturated - except my spirit! Visability about 50yds. Got a few jobs done, that’s the main thing. Met a couple if interesting folk, although no one stayed overnight. Total silence at night except for the sound of the burn outside the door. Magic !! Back home now and guess what… the grass needs cutting again. Deep joy ! :smiley:

Aye there’s a lot to be said for a bit of isolation,I thrive on it…Have been known to unplug landline,TV,laptop,smartphone…the sound of silence is fab’,could be out of communication for days or weeks depending on My mood…having said that My VM has been down on & off for the last 3 days,bloody annoying when You’re in the middle of something…Glad You got Your work done in the Bothy Mike,:smiley:

No I am in South West Scotland and there are plenty of forests here

We have quite a lot of woodland around Aberdeen where I stay gumbud.

Aye there are forests & woodlands everywhere Scot…The Places I’ve mentioned are the largest In Scotland,

Weather not to bad here, I’m getting the front of the house painted and hope it stays dry for it.

Good morning everybody. Gumbud glad your faith in us has been restored. May raining here this morning and I’m sure the painters will start work when it stops. Off to the hairdressers shortly and get a few bits and pieces at Braehead.

Good Morning Each,just about to walk out the door for My walk earlier when the heavens opened…bucketing down still,…and I’m still getting intermittent prob’s with VM,this is the 4th day it’s been going on and They keep apologising,glad I don’t depend on laptop to earn My living!!

Good morning everybods. Wall to wall heavy cloud down here in Kent with drizzly rain. I blame the North Koreans and their bloomin’ nuclear tests!!
