Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

A bit nippy here in SW England with the North wind but the skies are blue and it promises to be a nice day, a walk on our moors is called for I think.

Morning, Cold but dry here too the day, spent a lot of it up a step ladder so far, trying to remove a border from the top of the wall in the lounge. Want it done up and if I don’t make a start I won’t do it. Going to have a look at Suites tomorrow, one that will go with the forest green carpet I plan to get, already got the curtains. If I can get this boarder off without doing any damage, I won’t have to re-paper for a wee while yet, but it’s a long slow job.
Tory Birds? I like it. :044:

Good luck with the decorating Roxy…I don’t have any wallpaper on the walls on this bung’.swore I’d never paper a wall ever again, and I haven’t for 16 yrs since I moved here, easier for Me to just emulsion now and then…Is it for Your own house in Perth,or the Farmhouse?

It’s for the house up north, but it’s not the farmhouse, Dunc’s parents still live in that and we live in the old Cattleman’s Cottage. I doubt I’ll get a lot done as I’ll have to take off again to Perth, probably before the end of the week for this funeral. Then it’ll be Christmas, but if I get things moving then I’ll be able to continue after the holiday.

May, check your message box. PM headed your way.

Heh heh heh…gotcha.

Afternoon, cold n wet again here really raw. Was back to scraping the car this morning before I could go to the pool THEN, the bloody carpark was like a skating rink, it was wicked trying to get across to the door, I kicked off about it being unsalted, told them I’d have sued the ass of them if I’d gotten hurt out there…Guess What, lots of salt down when I came back out heeeeee. Finally got the rest of that border off the walls, what a job, but it’s off now and no damage, heading to look for a suite and carpet tomorrow but have to go to Wick and if they don’t have what I want it’ll be Inverness, but on my home from Perth.

Afternoon all,and it’s a very wet one here, but no ice thank goodness,
Daughter & SIL just left and She’s a very happy wee bunny as He’s been taken off the night-shift He’s been on for 6 months, and put on days starting Tomorrow,She says She hasn’t slept properly on Her Own since then

Hope You find the suite etc’ You want Roxy, when I was looking for a new one,I trolled through all the furniture web-sites 'til I saw the one I wanted, then did the same on Dunelms site for curtains, cushions, soft furnishings, visited both stores on the same day, paid deposit for suite, bought what I wanted in Dunelms, all done & dusted on the same day.

Back to not sleeping again, sick of this carry on.

Hi

Watch out folks, Guy and myself are planning a visit.

Salmon Fishing.

Nothing Posh, we are ordinary people,

No Ghilles or boats just the simple public fisheries.

No fly only or staying in Posh Hotels.

Spinners and worms and a really good time with the Locals.

Good Morning Each,a damp chilly one here but starting to brighten up…off to Tesco for more food…jeeze!..who’s eaten all the chuck I bought last time :-p

Sorry You’re having sleep prob’s Roxy, hope You catch up with it soon,

Good luck with the fishing SF,remember to bring Yer Passports

Morning, Horrible day here, when I left for the pool it was dry and no frost, when I came out the pool it was chucking down and still is. Short walk for Dageus as I managed to drag himself out of the tractor, once he’s changed we’re off to Wick to hunt for carpet and a suite.

Afternoon Each, just back from Town and was heartened to see the Children from the local primary school singing carols in Tesco in front of the giant Christmas tree…lovely…lots of flashing cameras

Salmon you say? Check the waters before you come, Not all places let you fish for Salmon at this time of the year. I think the season ends Oct/Nov untill February sometime.

Hi

I know, we follow the rules, just do not pay a fortune .

A simple B and B, great fun with the local lads.

We are not posh at all.

I’m sure you’ll both have a grand time, what part are you heading for?

Good Morning Each,it’s a cold frosty one here but no plans to go wandering and I’m still in My PJs,I may not get dressed at all today

Good morning to all in Scotland!

Caught you again May just as I peek in, hope that as it’s frosty you have your hat on, as in your avatar, despite still being in your PJs!

Aye,I’m keeping My hat on Baz…just in case I get visitors
