Yes it’s flat at John o Groats, and I walk along the cliffs at Duncansby a couple of miles further on. The mountains are towards the West on the other side of Thurso on the A836 to Durness. I also go along there to Strathy Beach for walks with the dog and it’s isolated with rough seas and caves. A wonderful place to explore.

Good Morning Each from a very wet rainy Glasgow…hooray the ice has all gone so I’ve been doing My Gene Kelly number with umbrella on a long walk to the CO-OP earlier.
…I usually hate the rain but at least I’m able to walk in it without breaking My neck…have a good Sunday all,

It was a hard frost here too last night and this was what I found I had to walk on when I reached the woods. 
Thank goodness for Ice grips, I went back to the car and pulled them on over my boots

Good morning Folks,a dry milder one here at the moment…stay at Home day with housework cleaning windows etc;…put up some dec’s but I don’t feel very xmasy,…still better than this time last year when I was quite ill with a nasty virus which took weeks to go and left Me as weak as water…hope You are all well.xx
Terrible news about the fire at Cameron House on Loch Lomondside…2 People have died and a few more are in hospital…all from the same Family I think…that poor Family…It says the Hotel will be closed for a few days,but I’m sure it will be much longer than that.
Was watching it on the News, I wonder what the devil happened…

The People who died were two Men on holiday from London.
Nice photos, folks. Today it is a mild 11C outside and I’m glad as yesterday I nearly slid in the ice a few times.
Feel a bit better today, the pain in my hands (Carpals) is a bit more managable.

Good morning everybody It is a shame about the fire at Cameron House a beautiful hotel, I stayed there a few years ago with a friend.Going into town to meet friends for lunch. Sorry Lila I haven’t heard from Myra for a few years.

Afternoon Folks,aye what a fab’ sunny warmish day it is here too…most of the Spring bulbs I planted a few weeks ago are shooting up already and I swear the grass has grown another couple of inches…what a change from last weeks weather eh.!..I’ve no doubt the big freeze will start again next week though,may even be a white Christmas
