Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

Thank you ValentinoJess, for the Welcome I appreciate it. No matter how hot it is here it is always nice when there is a breeze blowing off the water. It is now 6;04 pm here so just settling down after a busy day of cleaning ang spending time with my grandbabies. Hope you have a wonderful day!

Good evening Abbey and Thank you also for the Welcome to the sw Scotland group. Yep I too did my share of cleaning and now I am about to enjoy a cheeseburger and fries for my evening meal. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Good morning

Good evening everybody hairdressers then met some friends in town for coffee and a chat. Patti we are 8 hours behind Los Angeles, if that is any help to you.

Cut my forest walk short this morning as the rain was so heavy . The dogs were all hating it and I wasn’t too impressed either .
Heavy rain forecast for the whole day today so got a few inside jobs lined up .
Hope it’s better weather where you all are

Good morning

Good morning everybody. Raining here this morning and I’m off to visit my friend later and do some food shopping.

I’ve just got back from town … crazy weather here … a big downpour now sunshine and it’s so hot and humid

That’s the way we do it in our family too May, I also like the American way that more and more people are turning to. Someone from the Crematorium comes to collect the deceased and do the necessary, no service, the family, and whoever they ask all get together at a later date to remember in their own way. Also a hell of a lot cheaper. It’s certainly what I want…It takes a wee while to comes to terms with this but it seems to be catching on…

Tells you about the no funeral choice here.

Hi Roxy and thanks for the link although I have read it before.

Direct disposal is exactly what I want but at the moment it’s difficult to find anyone who does a prepaid direct disposal service … I’d prefer to prepay and make the necessary arrangements now rather than put my daughter through any trauma when my time is up. The only option available seems to me to be like buying from EBay or Amazon

 I’ve given instructions to my daughter that a memorial bench should be placed outside one of the charity shops in town

Hi Myrtle, I like the Memorial Bench idea too, another good idea that’s caught on. There’s new benches springing up quite often AND in places that a grateful dog walker (me) can plonk down for a breather. Often with a wonderful view overlooking the ocean or down a valley…

Good morning everybody. Overcast here this morning and I’m treating myself to a hot stone massage.

Good morning

Good morning everyone

Never heard of that…What is it exactly…:blush:

Morning, Back to rain again today…sigh. At least yesterday I got the lawns cut and a load of washing out to dry. SUMMER humph, think it’s got stuck down south at the tennis. :frowning:

Good afternoon from hot and sunny Macclesfield

Good morning everybody. Roxy they massage hot oils onto your body then place stones where you have problems. Mine is mainly tension in the shoulders and I feel a lot better for it. Toady I’m off to get my nails done then visit my friend.

Good Afternoon Each,a bright sunny one here so been busy in the garden,…watching Wimbledon this week too,…The Big Yin (Murray) just made it to the next round by the skin o’ His teeth…Feet up having a coffee break with crackers n cheese.
