Afternoon May, similar weather over the border, June has ever been a wet month, so roll on July so i can get out and about,off to the camera club tonight is todays highlight.

The weatherās certainly changed ā¦ cold and damp here 
Been back a day now and missing the family . Rain couldnāt be heavier and itās been on all day and is set to continue . Got the wood burner on to dry the boots that got soaked this morning
( thatās my excuse ;-)) Mainly I just like it on , I find it cheers me up in miserable weather .
Good afternoon everybody. Got home today and the washing machine is on. Weather wasnāt to bad when we were away apart from yesterday when it rained day and night.

Wee Neighbour was cremated at 2pm and Iāve never seen such a quiet ceremony,no flowers,words,tears or meal afterwards,and just the immediate Family of 6ā¦jeezeā¦I have it written that My lot have to have a knees-up with lots of eating,drinking,singing,and buckets of tearsā¦otherwise Iāll come back to haunt 'Em :-p

May your neighbourās send off is exactly the kind of thing I want but without my family being there !!! I actually want direct disposal but itās something that can only be arranged after a death so it looks like a simple no fuss funeral but I will stipulate no service and no mourners !!!
My daughter is appalled at this suggestion but Iāve told her I donāt want her and my son taking a day off work to attend my funeral 
ā¦ I came into the world without a fuss and thatās the way want to leave.

May they usual have a meal of some kind at a funeral or a cremation. I havenāt really thought about what I want when I go and pop my clogs.
Never thought I would find anyone who thinks like me regarding funerals .
All my pets are cremated with no fuss when they die and thatās exactly what I would want .
How often at funerals do you see a whole lot of folks there who havenāt seen the person in years .
Maybe some old folk might have liked a visitor or two when they are still alive . I think a lot of hypocracy surrounds funerals .
On a brighter note Iām going my favourite Ardwell pond walk today . Not been for a couple of weeks as I was away . Iām sure there will be a lot of changes .

Afternoon Each,not a bad one here as itās not rained so far.
Different strokes for different Folks where Funerals are concerned,and as I come from an Irish/Scottish Catholic Family Who have always followed tradition of a wake before the Funeral,and a celebration of the Persons Life afterwardsā¦thatās the way itās always been in My Family,and thatās the way it will be with Mine.
May the same with my family although not so much a wake, we do have something after it. Some rain here today and I managed to miss it. Still feeling tired after the holiday as we had a party to celebrate being together. Then another party to celebrate my nieceās daughter having a little girl after three boys.
I am a very long way from Scotland but I have always loved seeing pictures of it and reading Historical romance novels of Scotland.
