Last night I made a tomato, onion mushroom quiche–but without pastry—not like the sw one that uses cottage cheese—it was lovely–got enough for tonight with some chopped mixed salad…
Is the one in the video the one you got? Or did you get the Nicer Dicer Plus? The Plus is the only one I’ve been able to find and I did look on ebay as well. There are tons of them. But they’re not the same as the one in the video, which is the one I like.
Jusat checked the video–mine is the nicer dicer plus—is is green, and has a box underneath to catch everything in—so you can do your peppers, celery, spring onions, mange tout, lettuce—all in the same box–comes with a lid so you can put it all in the fridge till you are ready for it. plus lots of other accessories, but at the moment i am using mostly the same one. It works on a similar principle to the one in the video–but i have not seen that one—and if i had i would still prefer mine
Well after not following my healthy eating at all last week was prepared for a weight gain and it would have been my own fault.
But lost 2 pounds I think it must have been down to all that walking we did whilst we were away the week before as I did nothing to help it along at all.
Well serious about it for this week as got lots of fruit and vegetables in so here goes.

I had:
Cod, Roasted mixed peppers/courgettes & tin potatoes.
Cod sounds yummy. I love fish.
Speaking of courgette, I had one of these today for lunch.
It’s called cue ball (or sometimes 8 ball) zucchini. I sliced it, breaded it and fried it in sunflower oil.
Never seen that before Linda, did it taste just the same as Courgettes?

Tonight is pizza night. But right now I’m doing something I rarely ever do and that’s eating breakfast. I want to get something in my stomach because in a while, my son and I will be going out driving (he’s in the middle of learning to drive to get his permanent license) then he and I are going to the shooting range for a while and I’ll be starving hungry by the time we get home if I don’t eat something.
So I’m having a bowl of hot wheat cereal with a couple tablespoons of flax meal tossed in and an egg sandwich. I think I’m going to pull the egg off the bread and eat it plain, though. I’m not used to eating this much in the mornings, if I eat at all, and I’m filling up fast.

What a great idea! So Wednesday I weighed 222.7 lbs. I want to get down to 205 lbs.
I’ve read that weight loss begins with getting your nutrition right. I enjoy my glass of wine at night, and have to quit that if I’m to attain my goal. Hope everyone hits their goals!

Not been eating much this week, too stressed out, my Mum passed away this morning at 3.30am and I’ve just started eating properly again.

I decided today to stop going to my Slimming world group for a little while—last week, i lost 4 and a half pounds, got my 10% off certificate–was really pleased—but this week, ive been unwell, really bad tummy upset–barely been able to eat–drinking only water, and anytime i tried something light–like a dry crispbread, it set me off again–so I was not expecting much from this week—but I actually put on 3 pounds–so i am feeling a bit sick about that…plus a lot of personal stress issues involved with the group–not the whole group, just one person, so by avoiding all that should help me. I also about to drop my steroids down to 3 mg a day which should also help. So hope you are all ok and doing well. my menu today was cereal and peach with yoghurt–lunch was crackers, cottage cheese and an orange, tonight im having cod in lemon sauce with mixed vegetables.
Hello David–nice to see you join this group,was it the nicer dicer you were talking about–I was not too sure if that was the great idea–which it is, incidentally. !seems like you only have about just over a stone to lose–you should be able to do that easily–especially by cutting out the alcohol–and its well known that, unfair as it may seem, men lose weight easier and faster than women do–so good luck—let us know how you are doing…
