Fresh Cod pieces, boiled potatoes, baked ratatouillie.

Belly of Pork Strips with Roast Potatoes, Swede and Cauliflower Cheese.

Don’t know what I’m eating today. Haven’t had a chance yet, been on the phone with my boss.

Today we had:

Chicken breasts with Cajan Spices, with new potatoes and Courgette bake.

Today for lunch was quick and whatever I could grab because I had to take my son to his driving class. But dinner tonight is sauteed pineapple and onions in pita bread with ham and Swiss cheese and a bowl of Italian wedding soup.

I’ve got to get back into weight loss mode, so tomorrow’s lunch is a veggie burger on a 100 calorie sandwich thin with onions and one ear of corn on the cob. If I’m to guess, tomorrow’s lunch is probably a total of about 330 calories.

quick catch up—been really busy lately—last week I lost 3 pounds and this week I lost 3 and a half pounds just 1 pound short of 1 and a half stone.

Susie, I’m one of those weirdos who loves pineapple on pizza. So I also love it with other savory things, like baked pork chops, baked ham (gammon), stuffed into pita sandwiches with ham or turkey and onions and tomato or avocado, etc.

I know it sounds odd, but it’s really yummy!

mmm, I can understand pineapple on Gammon.

Today I am making Shepherd’s Pie with Vegetables.

I love it too. I’ll take a nice big roast of it and put it in my roaster, then score it, then pour a can of pineapple over it, juice and all (sometimes I use chunk pineapple, sometimes sliced, depends on what I’ve got hanging around) then rub it down with brown sugar before sticking it in the oven.

I could eat a huge portion of this right now :lol:

By the way, do any of you have a good recipe for Scotch Eggs? I’ve always wanted to try those. I know they’re probably horrible for you, but just once before I die, I’ve got to make those things and over here in the states, you just can’t find them anywhere because they’re not a typical American food.

Would love to try them.

Today we are having:

Homemade Shepherd’s Pie, Cabbage and Carrots.

Just back from 6 days away and as you can imagine nothing was off limits. Fish and chips, ice cream, etc I put a few pounds back on but not beating myself up about it as not going away again now until October.

Ok back to it now, chicken salad for tea

mmm that looks so tasty—well despite the odds–a tramuatic week-a rubbish birthday-i still manged to lose 1 and a half pounds so pleased with that–another half stone certificate–my weight loss jouney has been like a roller coaster over the last few months–lost 9 pounds in the first 2 weeks–over the next 9 weeks–I lost or added alternate weeks–maintained 3 weeks–overall in 9 weeks lost 4 and a half pounds–in no 2 consecutive weeks did i lose–but i lost in the last 3 weeks- 8 pounds in total–making 21 1/2 pounds in 3 months—not a great deal–but considering my age, my stress levels, my medication I guess i am happy with that–lots of people are telling me they can see a difference–so thats all good. hope you are all doing well–im ok, just busy–plan some home made burgers tonight made with 2% fat turkey mince–plus a whole load of diced raw veg–bought a new dicer/chopper the other week–worth its weight in gold–bought for just over £7.00 on ebay
