I had the Chinese today for lunch and for some reason it just didnât sit well. It wasnât as good as it usually is, I think the place was rushed because it was so busy. I ate half of it (almost half) then threw the rest away.
All ok hereâjust busyâbought myself a fitbit, i love it now i am getting used to it. I am doing a challenge this weekend with a friend to see who does the most stepsâit will not be meâbut that does not really matter too muchâŠat least im getting out moreâso are the dogsâlol lol
Well, see, itâs all good then. Iâm sure the dogs are enjoying getting out as well
I have no idea what Iâm going to eat today. I havenât thought about it yet, I just got up a little while ago and I canât eat when I first get out of bed. I have to be up for a couple of hours before I can even think about food.
I am, however, making some crab cakes today. Bought a pound of claw crabmeat, so Iâm going to make the cakes, fry them up, then let them cool down and freeze them to save for quick meals.
I thought I was having a good weekâI went to my friend on Wednesday and took my own lunchâwent to a quiz on Saturday, and despite my table being full of wine,loads of cheeses, dips, quiche, falafels, chicken satay, biscuits , crisps, chocolate cakes, box of Thorntons chocolatesâall just for the interval, believe it or notâbut I stuck to my home made crab pate and celery sticksâbut I think I did too much exercise and walking-becuase the next day I could hardly move---- then Sunday night about 10.00 at night, I was trying to get my dog Harry inâwhen I fell in the gardenâI was really frightenedâthough I might be there all nightâor longerâmaybe till Wednesday would be the first time I would be missedâI was getting quite hystericalâbut eventually managed to crawl to the garageâthen I could get myself upâbut somehow it must have upset my body, as next morning I had put on 2 and a half pounds overnight !!! I knew i had not eaten anything that I should not have, so it is a mystery. However I will be officially weighed tonight, so I shall see what happens then.
Mariana I hope you are alright. We do push ourselves donât we. With the exercise you are doing have you built up muscle because this can weigh heavier, so I have heard. Please donât be disheartened by it.
I think all the walking we did the week before last helped me, I worked it out on my phone that we had walked approx. 9 miles per day whilst we were away. That is some walking, mind you there was not a lot else to do.
We are in Stratford for two days tomorrow so another lot of walking before we go to Spain in a weeks time. That will be soooo much walking.
I think Iâll make me some liver & onions with mushrooms for lunch today. That and a blend of broccoli and cauliflower. I need to eat something healthy for once, Iâve been eating a lot of rubbish for the last 2 weeks. That and I think my body needs the iron the Vit A from the liver.
Everyoneâs food sounds yummy. Iâll be out and about today, so Iâll probably stop at get lunch somewhere. A little place not far from here has a new turkey club sandwich Iâve been wanting to try, so I might go for that.
WellâI managed to lose 2 and a half pounds last weekâdespite going out for a friends birthday meal on Friday, and having my boyfriend stay with me another 5 daysâŠbut I just gave him the same as meâjust added extra pasta, chips, or roastiesâso that made things easierâŠso that makes 12 and a half pounds off since I returned to slimming worldâthats 6 weeks ago I think⊠i am happy with that.
