Yummy

Whaaaaa??? What’s that? :017:

What do you mean Linda, you must know what Gammon is?
We didn’t eat all the Gammon, only 2 slices each.

I have no idea what Gammon is. But I’m going to go look it up, since you won’t tell me, lol.

Sorry Linda, its a bacon joint, you can either boil it for 1hr 15 mins. or Roast it.

Today we are having Fish and Stir-Fry.

Last night I had a really lovely mushroom and cheese omelette—so delicious I have promised to make it again for the man in my life, when he comes round tomorrow night…

Nice Mariana, I like Cheese & Onion.

Okay, now I’m REALLY confused because what I’m reading says it’s ham.

Yes we call it boiled bacon, but yes it is Ham, both of them are from the Pig.

Haha, I know it all comes from a pig, but bacon and ham are two completely different cuts, so that’s why I was confused

Sounds yummy, regardless. I love ham, especially cut right from the bone.

gammon is slightly different to bacon or ham–and different again from pork–all of which come from the pig—I do not eat gammon or bacon or pork–but I do like ham. Especially ham on the bone.

good idea—I can easily add some onions…

Or even Mushroom Omelette.

Today we are having:

Lambs Liver, Mash & Peas.

you know what men are like–it will probably be ham, mushroom, cheese and onion omelette—with toast on the side !!!

mmm yes you’re right there Mariana, what is the saying:

To a mans heart, is through his tummy! or something like that.

Absolutely !!

Mine too. I should have married a chef

Having Chicken Curry today.

I’m having a ham & cheese pita and sweet & sour cucumber slices.

Think I’ll make this Friday afternoon to munch on over the weekend.

The omelette went down really well !!!
tonight as i was on my own i had salmon salad, really lovely

Not sure if I’ve asked you this before, but how do you make your salmon salad? I make it occasionally as well and stuff it into a pita. Is it salmon on a salad? Or do you actually make a mixable salmon salad that you can spread onto a sandwich?
