Its not about quantity, its about quality Sweetie, less is sometimes more.XXX
True Spitty.
It is Twelfth night!
Then it follows that this is Dozen Day!
Is that 'BAKERS" dozen,or mere mathematical dozen?
A mere mathematical dozen, though I do use my loaf, and my Father did say where numbers were concerned, I am a son-blessed.
What about the dirty dozen?
Good luck with the lecture Pug, it’s great to be able to pass on your knowledge to others.
It has taken a hell of a lot of money and 4 billion miles for a tiny space craft to find the Ultima Thule, which I believe are two very large rocks in space, can’t wait to see the pictures, I love looking at expensive rocks, being doing it all my life, well done to all concerned.
My Ultimate Tool is in my working trousers pocket hanging up on the back of the shed door, it’s my Swiss army knife, not a stones throw away, and it only cost me 10 quid from Amazon.
And lets not forget the wonderful work done by our Chinese friends who have just landed a probe on the dark side of the Moon.
I believe they offered the probe to the USA several years ago but the price was to high, NASA told them to “Stick it where the Sun don’t shine” The message got lost in translation and that’s how it ended up on the dark side of the Moon, or so a chap from Cork was telling me.;-)
Excellent posts of late chums
Hello RJ, we nearly had a meeting of minds, did we not?
Lost in translation.
Bonsoir,all;
Jem,that lecture is today. I have NO idea how to assimilate the various nuances of content regarding the subject,if this Mac thing has to be used…so SODDEM.
I’ve got all the info and equations relevant to the lecture all on my Linux.
…and if the uni doesn’t like it - I quit. I’m genuinely that p1ssed off at not being able to find relevant photos,documents,etc-and those I CAN find, just REFUSE to allow themselves to be posted on forums-even physics forums pertinent to the education of the students. So,sod it-my way or no way,I’ve had enough.
nope.
ignore me [like most people] I’m trying to adjust the size of the posted image. They’re all arriving here as tiny, hard to see, little things, rather than, like YOU lot manage,as page-fillers.
Sod it…back to the drawing board…
isn’t that’s what the vicars daughter said to the vicar when he asked “how are you getting on with all the sailors these days dear?”
“They’re all arriving here as tiny, hard to see, little things when all I want is a full page filler!”
Yeah Pug, re-evaluate, Gummy is just being a Nob-o.
I don’t mind if we do…
FOR MORE info look for me at OS grid reference 120420 & ask for Mildred.
Good Afternoon everyone
The day of the Magi.
Good evening to you Sweetie.
Yes the Magi stargazers, you can see some really weird stars when you partake of the Magi Mushrooms I’m told.
Just a small question I was going to send in to ‘Ask’, but I decided to ask my learned friends here instead.
Cordless mice are great, you can use them anywhere, however there is one problem I find with them, it’s the little bit of ‘cheese’ as I call it, the tiny thing that goes into you computer USB to pick up the signal from the mouse, I have about five of these mice but I keep losing the cheese, no two pieces of cheese work with any other mouse, they must be matched to each individual mouse and they all look the same tiny black things, and what with switching them around different places and machines they get lost or mixed up.
Only two of my mice are working now, a white one and the brown one, the other three have no cheese or not the right type of cheese, consequently the mice died of ‘starvation’ making them useless to me or anyone else.
Could you possibly tell me what to do with three dead mice? (please don’t say bury them)
Jem if they are blind mice, I would chop of their tales with a carving knife.
I know tails tales.
Wish upon a star. X
