By the time you get here. They will be back.
excuses excuses - some one who looks a gift horse in the mouth!![]()
I think they had a much better time of it back in the real old days, boy did they live to be great ages.
Today medical science predicts that in 100 years time most folks will live to be 100 and over, but just look at how old Noah was when he died all those years ago.
“Noah died 350 years after the flood, at the age of 950, the last of the extremely long-lived antediluvian Patriarchs. The maximum human lifespan, as depicted by the Bible, diminishes thereafter, from almost 1,000 years to the 120 years of Moses” Wiki.
According to that Noah would have been 600 when he entered the arc and if he started to built it when he was 20 it would have taken him 580 years to built, nearly as long as Spitty’s office.;-)
Noah’s dad Lamech was 180, when Noah was born, a mere spring chicken,
“And Lamech was one hundred and eighty years old when he took Ashmua, the daughter of Elishaa the son of Enoch his uncle, and she conceived.” Wiki
I believe he was arrested for unlawful sex with a minor, Ashmua was only 118 at the time, the legal age then being 150.
My son just passed out AGAIN!!!
THIS IS HAPPENING TOO MUCH.
Sorry, I am stressed.
sorry to hear that babe x

But Noah didn’t have a Mortgage to pay.

Sorry to hear that Sweetie, try not to worry too much, if he sees your upset that won’t help, I know it’s not easy to do.
When Phyllis was young she was always passing out on me, mostly in the church at mass on Sundays and a few times in the cinema, she never fainted outdoors however, I always wondered why that was.
She was anaemic and the doctor put her on iron tablets, as she got older the fainting got less and less and finally disappeared altogether.![]()

A morgage was no burden back then Spitty, you had at least 600 years to pay it off.
I always wondered why that was.
oh you super dandy you!!
Oh I know.![]()
We need Pug to explain to us how these geezers of yore lived so long, my guess is that they had very short years then, a completely different calendar before Julius Caesar set then on the right track with his new improved version, although he balls it up and they had to introduce the leap year thing much later. What say you Gummy dear boy?![]()
I have updated about my son in health.
Thanks you lovely guys. X
by jove chaps - you might be onto something there watson?
yes never heard anyone suggest the ‘short year’ theory - now that needs looking into to year by year by year! - you got plenty of time Jem!
