just came across some old clips of the Dick Cavett show in USA - a bigger and might I say smarter version of the Michael Parkinson show - he also got hold of the visiting stars like the beatles and stones and his long time ambition was interviewing Katherine Hepburn although I found her quite boring - just go to youtube YES your own Utube and look for him. He is like a fine wine needs savouring a few times but he is a very clever interviewer his Paul Newman gig was good
