Oh Dreamy, I am praying they are not cancerous tumours.
You are seeing all the specialists.
Ask your doctor if you can have a sleeping pill.
At least with a good nights sleep, it is easier to deal with all these worries.
You get on well with your GP, take a list of what you want to ask. I do that when I am stressed.
Keep us posted if you can.
The doctorās hospital psychiatry consultant already prescribed me a sleeping pill, though I doubt it will work as I take all kinds of stuff at night. And Iām dealing with demons and evil beings every time I sleep anyway; a sleeping pill is no defence against that.
My illness is the cause of all that unpleasant stuff and, until it can be properly diagnosed It wonāt go away.
Iām tending to think my time is up.
Donāt think that way Dreamy. They are just silly nightmares.
Think of them as a horror film and it is all just acting.
Your time is not up, that is giving up.
Never give up. xxx
I agree that your diagnosis needs to be treated with priority.
Mind altering drugs such as sleeping pills, and benzodiazepines such as ativan, and other mind altering medications can cause these hallucinations (or demon, as you choose to call them)ā¦
When I had my last operation, I had acute delerium caused by the medication they gave meā¦I saw strange things like my brother laughing up in the clock, and pretty purple curtains that disappear when I touched themā¦they seem to all be up towards the ceiling looking down at me.
Hallucinations all of them⦠I first had them when I had cancer (Had 4 operations)ā¦then two years ago, I went through it again, but I told my brain what they were and I prayed. I was more able to cope with it, when I understood themā¦
Well Iām sure theyāll be quick to come up with a biopsy then most of the horrific mental scenes will disappear provided they are given the right treatment.
Iām in my GPās waiting room just now to deliver her two letters, one each from Haematology and Psychiatry. I just hope thereās something she can do or suggest how I get through this torrid time.
Me too Dreamy. Me too. xxx
You are in my prayers.
The biopsy should be done ASAP!
Any drug that changes how your brain thinks (mind altering) can give you comfort, or they can also cause you stress and hallucinations.
Marijuana can be a āhappyā drug, but if you donāt know how much you can handle, it can cause you do do things you donāt normally do.
Alcohol, at a certain level can make you happy and lovable, then at another level it can cause you to do things that you would not normally do.
Drugs work the same way.
All the best to you Richard. If you ever want prayer, just let me know.
Good idea, Blue - time perhaps to tell the demons theyāre not real and to take a hike. Iāve never been particularly religious, but have become moreso lately.
Lay your burdens at the foot of the cross, and plead the blood of Jesus on you for protection and healing.
When you tell your demons to āscramā, say āI reject you in the name of Jesusā. Demons hate Jesus and will run. Everything you pray about, want, need⦠do it āin the name of Jesusā Speak it out loud even if in hospital. do not be embarassed. If you are proud of Jesus, He will be proud of YOU.
And yes, I would like some prayer, please.
Would you like it here Richardā¦or quietly by PM?
Either way is fine with me.
Dear Father in Heaven, Whose name is above all names, The Lord of Lords and King of Kingsā¦I have a special prayer coming up to you todayā¦
I lift up my friend Richard, to have You touch him in a mighty way Lord. Only You know what is best for Richard, and only You know if you have something special in mind for Richard. He is only 52 Father, so young, so much potential⦠He has indicated that he is believing in you Lord, please show him just how mighty you areā¦BUT, not my will, but YOURS be done.
If Richard is healed, all the glory is yours, oh Father. If healing is not in the plan, at least help him and comfort him in whatever will happen at this point.
Amen, in the name of Jesus, Amen
Thank you wild blueberry - that has helped me, and I will continue to pray, not just for me, but all cancer sufferers.
It helps me knowing that you are 3000 miles away, God is everywhere.
Some people may not understand but I have always been a believer although itās not always been apparent. I will try and conduct myself more in a Christian manner.
Iām wondering what sleeping pill the GP has prescribed. They can make things worse if youāre on an anti-psychotic.
At least they finally have found a potential cause that isnāt a virus or infection. Hopefully now they can start treating the right thing.
Keep us posted Dreamy.
And no more giving up. xxxx
Zopiclone which Iāve been on before for a bout of sleeplessness.
I will, Sweetie, and thanks for being such a good friend on here; you always are positive.
Iām feeling slightly better now but wary of my sleep to come.
As long as you have used it before without any hallucinations then thatās good, but OH had his breakdown triggered by that very medication. Three days after starting the pills he was in a secure unit.
Just make sure you mention to the GP that you have increased your Olanzapine dosage.
Try to think of positive things Dreamy. x
You have been in bad situations before. But you came through it. xxx
Good point Annie, I agree to have it checked Dreamy.
Thatās put a bit of a dampener on things. How long was he ill for and how is he now?
