The police report stated Mugged
Canât stand em!
Theyâre usually a couple mentally ill teenagers in the high schools.
Basically they believe itâs clever to call in and make bomb threats etc.
Usually after getting tossed out of H.S. they go on to many dozen jobs, most donât last 6 months, they just canât shut up their negative thoughts / Mouths. They start having accidents and sleep under poles in tents in the woods along roads.
"Itâs my fault!"
It is easy to check actual facts these days.

There have been at least 36 school shootings in the United States so far this year, as of August 20. Twelve were on a college campus, and 24 were on K-12 school grounds. The incidents left at least 23 people dead and 32 other victims injured
In the first year of the Covid-19 pandemic, when schools were closed, there was a major decline in gun violence incidents on school grounds. Since then, recent years saw a stark increase in school shootings, with at least 84 incidents in 2023, a record since at least 2008. But 2022 was one of the deadliest years, with 48 fatalities, according to CNNâs analysis. That year saw the shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, where 19 students and two educators were killed and more than a dozen others were injured.
There is no point in trying to convince scared alarmists that it is a lot more dangerous visiting an average US city than it is going to London. Theyâve decided that London is crime ridden and super dangerous - even though all the data, and lived experience, shows that it is not. But their minds are made up so let them whitter on and ignore them. There is also no point because, on reflection, who cares? Who cares that a trembling, spineless bunch of Americans donât come to the UK? Who cares that they will happily go to Las Vegas or New York or Mexico or Miami or Chicago - all of which are more dangerous?
Its interesting that my own view is that I would now not visit any of these American places. Iâve been and they were all distinctly average. The crime levels did not, and would not, put me off. Only simpering cowards worry about that. Its just that these places are (with the exception of a handful of decent museums and galleries) visit once, tick the box and go find more interesting locations. That plus the significant risk that some over important homeland security or ICE agent will decide my travel is not permitted for no reason. Plus the fact that their president is ruining the worldâs economy and going out of his way to criticise what were strong allies. All of which is why tourist numbers to the US have fallen off a cliff.
I can see what kind of person does this. Like a good socialist only part of the story, what time is a lie.
Now the rest of the story.
Sep 22, 2023 â There have been at least 36 school shootings in the United States so far this year, as of August 20.
See the date, misleading statement done on purpose, not by mistake. The true value of a person.
I read the article shared and could see no reference to this date - why did you mention it?
Typical of American thinking is that London is England not that is just a tiny part of. With that thinking we may well assume that New York is America.
I suppose it is the culture in the USA to be gullible enough to believe what they are spoon fed by the media
Jan 1, 2024 â Londonâs 2023 murders examined: key figures in the UK capitalâs homicides · In 2023 so far, there were 103 homicides reported
Of the six most dangerous cities in Europe, three are in England. Not Britain or the UK but England.
I know, itâs above your level. High light the statement and search. It a cnn article. Sad. What ever you do. Donât. Do research
Good point, with a country the size of Oregon, still canât comprehend the size of the US.
For example, look at how many Brits came to the US, along with the other European countries, to the FIFA. Being here they still could not comprehend the size of the US. They couldnât comprehend how far advanced the US compared to European insignificant size.
The trouble is Americans are Brain washed from birth believing their country is best, which obviously it is not
just take for example food . The American diet is full of artificial flavouring and chemicals. Even the eggs are washed in chemicals before offered to the public. Only rules that apply is what industry decides on not law
Public transport away from cities are virtually none exiistant hence the total reliability on car ownership.
Donât even mention medical issues and having to decide if they can even afford an ambulance ride to hospital let alone a simple operation
Lets talk about holidays and how many days off work they are allowed. NO not fixed days but governed by the company they work for
What about Crossing a road. Opps!!! Americans must cross on designated crossing points of get find for J walking
or freedom to roam. risk getting shot is going on someone elses farm land . UK has paths on others land without issue
So are Americans as free as they are led to believe??? And donât even start me on gun crime
Yes he handed over his money, but he wasnât stabbed. I thought the discussion was about stabbings. There are muggings everywhere in the world, but I am not sure how many threatening with a knife ever use it.
The stabbing attacks in London streets which have been on the news are to injure or kill. Usually these are some sort of revenge or power game between drug gangs. Some have been between teenage boys who may or may not be in a gang. But itâs a certain group of young people that are the victims and perpetrators.
So it would not be a risk to you, unless you secretly run a drugs cartel⊠(or are several decades younger than you have said)
most of the US is an empty desert or mountain region, devoid of population.
So does that mean you visited and decided it was not to your taste?
And I less then two weeks, the US was able to brain wash the Brits that attended the FIFA games were influenced our food is the best. So letâs see if I should believe someone that never experienced American food or someone that has been here and traveled around this great nation?
Ok, you got us on that because we donât eat the egg shells.![]()

Ok, here we go again:The United Kingdom has about 9,785 to 9,848 route miles. But: The United States has nearly 140,000 route-miles.
Intercity: The U.S. buses run 4.3 billion miles a year. The UK buses run 1 billion Miles a year.
You must mean where I can get an appointment the same day and have non emergency surgery within 3 days at the most. And not pay a cent.
True depending on what job you take. you get a week vacation or 4 weeks vacation. Again depending on what job you take, you get every holiday off or you get paid time and half or double time. The same when you work over time, depending how much over time you work you get double time and even triple time. Depending on your job you get paid to carry a company phone 14 hours a day. And you can get paid 4 hours if they call you.
Yes, that law is on the books. You can get a ticket if you donât have $5 on you. You can get fined if your a 400 pound woman in shorts on a horse. You can get a ticket if you donât have hub caps on your wheels.
If you are asked to leave, leave. Itâs not that hard. Not paying taxes on land for others entertainment. Show some courtesy and ask first.
No we donât get arrested for posts we put on the Internet.![]()
And you can say the exact same thing about all the shooting in the US.
You mean like some cities in the desert: Phoenix Arizona, Los Vegas Nevada, Tucson Arizona, El Paso Texas.
Or even the mountains: Denver Colorado, Salt Lake City Utah, Colorado Springs Colorado, Albuquerque New Mexico, Tucson Arizona, El Paso Texas. One might want to get out more often.
Having been to the USA twice and eaten traditional food like clam chowder was nice, however most was not as good as food in the UK from from it . No real flavour or taste comparing like for like USA v UK food
