I’d a look at the corruption of historic presidents - and it is not good. The US has endured much corruption by many presidents. However some are citing as corrupt for dodgy practises rather than fleecing the nation to line their pockets - or using their office for monetary gain. Thus Nixon is cited as corrupt for watergate but his money corruption is never seen as worth mentioning. And when you sit previous bad apples (Grant, Harding, Johnson) against Trump - it is Trump who is head and shoulders above all of them in terms of financial gain for himself and his family. Literally top of the class not bronze.

It’s super packs that are causing run away corrupt politicians. That’s a possible fact. Jerk the funds and they have to rely on the common voter for funds. There are limits to those funds amounts going from each voter. USA politics has become corrupt and so the Supreme court is also owned. Sure the media has caused a lot of problems, it over the decades of constant Negative adds from the lying Sob’s at election time attacking the other opponents. Nothing of substantial truth there.
