Pac’s and Super Pac’s really got rolling in the 1st decade of the 21’s century and can really cause political mayhem with their strategic political capabilities. Basically, it’s the mayhem we now have.
Check your timing with Bush and Super Pac’s & try to understand the southern Republican program of mayhem. The insanity of conquer of an island that is mostly a melting glacier et all. The hell coming from poor relations with most of the world just to fuel unending spending of $Trillions of stupids.
Look closely at the Bush’s and The Donald’s characteristic. What Voters believe too.
As I understand the way that PAC / super PAC work is they are political fund vehicles for collecting donations. Without upper limit to the amount received. This surely means that they are not illegal. Thus, taking advantage of such funding vehicles is not corruption. Of course the expenditure from super PACs is meant to be independent from a specific candidates campaign and this is frequently abused - so that bit is corrupt.
Let me be clear - I fully agree that such things erode democracy. To clean up US politics these need to be removed - and more besides. But introducing superPACs and now using superPACs is, it seems, quite legal.

And as for the subsequent US response to 9/11 - hard to see how that was positive… certainly wasn’t a positive end result.

Think Bush was in Texas talking with school Kids in Class, he then flew to The B52’s in Nebraska and then was escorted home to DC by a couple F16’s that late afternoon. I saw him / AF1 fly past Moline Airport. The 4 bad aircraft had crashed. Think those pilots were trained to fly in Florida. They loved to party there.

Look when Super Pac’s became lawful with the excuse that they are lawful, then look at what has happened to US debt increasing by Trillions every year since. Then Obama, Trump, Biden and now Trump again and $40 + Trillions in debt, most likely 50 with the mideast wars on the list of crap caused by crappers. Its impossible not to see what is happening. Luckily the Earth is rapidly entering an uninhabitable billions of human life’s end of zone lifeline. Floods are forecast, impossible weather is forecast. Soon Glacier Ice melts will overwhelm warmth, then Warmth will rain Very dry and arid lands of no saving. The normal blue and white skies will become gray dust. Dust in the air becomes a heat absorber of more 100 F. days a year.
Doing a suborbital span for 25 years, one can understand the destruction of social life is the gain. I remember ‘the Last Man on Earth’ sitting there alone.
No worse than any other. But more powerful than any other person in the world.
