How much do you weigh?

Our first born was 6llb 8, at ten past 8, it’ll never have a ring in kilos.

So why are baby’s birth weights announced in lbs & ounces instead of the kilo’s so many of you on here are in favour of?

I’m a stone, lbs, ounces person.

Sod the kilo’s!

I don’t have scales, so I don’t know. I’m a medium in clothes, and that’s enough for me :+1:
I also know that I am not what is the recommended weight for my height of 5ft 2 (7 stone). :astonished: who said that was a good thing?!
I can run about with the dog, so I’m alright with that

Um…
How do they weigh babies in hospitals?

Your newborn will be weighed in the hospital and at all check-ups. In most cases, metric units are used to record babies’ weight. This chart will help you convert the metric unit grams (g) to pounds (lb) and ounces (oz).

I’m old school (imperial) much to the annoyance of kids, my son and nephews will the you their height… it’s always 1. something m

I get ribbed about it too, but when we are having a pint watching the footie, and they complain the wall is not 10 yards back

That’s between me and my scales . It’s not something I share with anyone, other than my GP.

6’2 and 19 stone, roundabouts. I am not fat but the ‘beer muscle’ kind of silhouette, as Slovakians say, is in progress.

I did press-ups every day after Xmas for about 5 months. Fifty press ups a day sent me quite mad so I stopped doing press ups in the early summer. I believe (going forward) a droopy chest is relative really - and ‘pumped up’ old guys is creepy…phenomena, imo

I cycle to work and run around all day in my front line (thank you) duties. I think I’d make a good hulk in the movies, or a cage fighter if it wasn’t for my wrist condition.

A lean Alsatian behind the eyes with the sloppy St Bernard actuality…reality.

The size of your frame needs to be a consideration as well.

I was born in inches, not centimetres :grin::innocent:

I’m 5’7” but weigh too much for my height. I’ve been on medication which causes me to gain weight. That’s how I wish to understand it even if it’s not true.,

Well, I’m conversant with Imperial and metric. My aged age!. But it surprises me that so many people here don’t like metric. It is much simpler than stones, pounds, and ounces. Metric for that is just kg.
