My statement was not a theory as it is factual.
Yesterday i heard that the government were considering banning those awful barbeques that some people take along with them on picnics.
Not sure if the ban applies to the use of them, or whether a ban on shops that sell them.
Both would be appropriate, considering the damage (and potential damage) they can cause in these dry conditions.
But eventually all things that are heavier than air (including CO2) eventually fall to earth where it is naturally absorbed by green things, Trees and plants etc, without it they will die.
The earth is self cleaning, and has managed to keep wildlife and us, alive for millions of years, but the weather patters do fluctuate with or without our help.
The sun is the main driver of our weather patterns and apart from localised pollution, industry has played no part in the production of extreme weather.
Since religion can no longer (Frighten or control the masses) Science has been the new threat. Look no further than who is making money and possibly control of the masses out of this fiasco.
Ever since they discovered oil, it was the oil companies and their rich owners who more or less ruled the world, everybody needs oil. But the balance is changing and going green, not because it will save the planet but because they want ownership of the world taken away from the oil and gas providers.
If the people in charge wanted to help the planet, why would they suddenly tool up, use valuable earth resources, and manufacture millions of electric vehicles from scratch? Why would they tool up and produce and site thousands of wind turbines? Why would they produce millions of hectares of solar panels? Why are they still building airport runways and filling the skies with even more airplanes?
While you are doing your best to cut down on journeys, driving carbon free vehicles and saving water and energy, these people are driving about in big engine range rovers etc, flying across the planet, and using as much energy and water as they like, shipping goods and food half way across the world in large diesel engined ships, and telling you that itās all your fault that the world is in the state that itās inā¦Theyāre taking the p$ss!..
If they really wanted to save the planet they would make things to last and be repaired, but that isnāt going to make them any money is itā¦
The only way to control you and everyone else is to make you believe that the climate is changing because of your greed. They ram it down your throat at every opportunity. I bet they are loving this freak hot weather because the smug news readers can blame it on us, and the BBC never miss a chance to do that. They know that there is no way for the average person to check the validity of their claimsā¦How many people can check the ozone layer, or the thickness of the ice in the south or north pole? Or even the temperature in different places in the world, or indeed the amount of CO2 residing in the atmosphere? Or the weather records over the last 200 years?
We are all at the mercy of what comes from the media. But everyone thinks that they are a climate scientist just like everyone thought they were a vaccine specialist during covidā¦And we all know how that turned out.
And before you say itā¦No! I am not a climate scientist but I know when Iām being bull shittedā¦
That statement is factually incorrect.
Carbon dioxide is a gas that mixes evenly through the air, rather than settling on the ground like a heavy liquid. Air currents keep CO2 well-mixed high into the atmosphere.
And the earth is flat and we never went to the moonā¦

We canāt pinpoint the cause or fix this but it is frightening what is happening.

Gawd, this thread started as a bit of laugh then some climate change basher had to wade in with a preachy pishy lengthy post. Yawn. Canāt we just be silly in face of a wall of heat? Iām sweating my jockeys off, its 10pm locally and still 32 deg. I do not expect global solutions, I just want a really, really cold cold glass of white wine. With ice cubes.

Actually noā¦although the relative percentage of gases remain the same at altitude they become less dense so their effectiveness becomes negligibleā¦
