Ghosts: What use are they?

Its the unknown that fascinates… Is there an afterlife ? we all want to believe there is

We also want proof… and unexplained occurrences offer intrigue and perhaps hope.

I don’t think I do. I don’t mind the idea of total none existence at all. I have a feeling that neither of those ideas will be the case though. We don’t really understand time beyond our concept of it being a process of progression, but that might not be true. Maybe everything that exists exists consantly and eternally, and we are only aware of now. But, of course, there would be an infinite number of nows, and all our awarenesses of these infinite nows are unaware of each other. That sounds like I’m trying to be funny, but I’m not. It isn’t easy to explain what I mean, particularly as I’m not sure what I mean myself. Anyway, it’s bed time, but I’ll try and figure it out properly while I’m dropping off to sleep.

Ok, well, i’ve always believe that there is a spirit and often seen in old Grave yards taking photos.
My last House before I moved here was in a 1560 Thatched Cottage and from the 1st day of being there, it didn’t feel quite right, also our Cat could sense something, things started going missing then returning after 2 weeks in the same spot. Eventually, I asked my friend who is a Physic Photographer and has been on TV to come down with his camera. He has just an ordinary Digital Camera. He came down, walked around, said there was nothing downstairs, he went upstairs with me following him and said there is something next to the window near the bed, I will take a photo, I stood next to him to make sure that he was not fiddling about with the Camera, which I knew he wouldn’t do that to me anyway, he took the photo, we came back downstairs, and there it was, looks like a Victorian young Lady standing there (see photo).

It would take one (or probably more) wise men to answer that. :biking_man:

Wow Susie! This is fascinating…have you found out anything about her?

No nothing.

What use are they?
A constant illustration of the high cost of living.

Did you ever look into the history of the house, and try to find out who had lived in it?

Yes I did Harbal, the Grave yard behind our House had the whole family there, who used to live in our House and I have loads of Information on other people who used to live there.

Interesting , I would have loved to have visited that cottage .

This was our Cottage.

The Cottage was disturbed in 1983, a Builder took it down to a Skeleton and re-built it (see photo of how it was before).SAM_2767 (640x470)

Yes, susie, looking at that photo, I think it is fair to say that the cottage was most definitely disturbed. :slightly_smiling_face:

And did you discover anything out of the ordinary about anyone who had lived there, or come across any unusual events that had taken place?

No not at all.

Here is another photo that was taken, which looks like a weird looking face, peering through the living room window.

We can’t make out what it is.

More readable than that! I had to look up half that.

Morning susiejaeger,

Thank you for sharing this, I understand the reluctance to share such accounts for fear of ridicule, ignore them, they invent to belittle to seek some kind of notoriety in their dull life

I admit when I see such Photographs, I question was there a fault with the Camera, but you were there and know what you saw. But still most will think camera fault, I know it’s frustrating

Not sure if you read my post, where I never noticed certain things, everyone involved said it were impossible for me not to notice, I was adamant only to be told I must have been in shock or I

subconsciously blanked it out

Thanks again for sharing your story and Photographs, very interesting
