There are so many things us humans know little (or nothing) about.
They are still making new discoveries under the sea, new species of creatures we never knew existed. I believe the same applies to unknown life everywhere.
I read once, that there is a difference between ghosts and spirits, but most people tend to talk of them as one and the same. I cannot find the book at the mo, which explains it, but I seem to remember he said ghosts are entities that never existed on earth in human form, but spirits are deceased humans and animals that were once here, with us.
So many people mock any suggestion of an afterlife, but they are usually the very people who have never bothered to read and learn anything, so are just talking āblindā really. It is the same with mocking any subject one knows nothing about. If they donāt understand it, it canāt possibly be true!
I just like to think nobody in this world knows everything.
Have noticed threads have posts removed for drifting off Topic, here there are about twenty interesting posts off topic, so instead of having them discarded, use them as the introduction posts of a new threadā¦. so I and perhaps others can reply to them
Wouldnāt seem right starting a new thread with replying posts to a different thread especially if they are removed

Pushing open a door, it stopped against the body of a good friend who unknowingly to me had just committed suicideā¦ā¦still today a very sad memory, even with fading recollections of that day, there are things I canāt forget, or explain.
Soon as the door come against his bodyā¦ā¦a strange and strong sensation like some kind of electric shock, went right through my body, and I knew he was dead.
The police and ambulance arrived, asking if I was okayā¦. Policeman sitting with me making conversation, checking I was okay, telling me it was bad thing to experience the worst he had attendedā¦ā¦only a week or so later I was made aware of the blood that was everywhere, I saw no bloodā¦ and none was on me, apparently not seeing any blood was regarded as impossible not walking through any would needed effort.
It was that sensation, and knowing he was dead, and seeing nothing as I walk through the house all seemed connected in some way
This thread is probably of more interest because of Halloween being just round the corner, and the relevance is obvious, but Christmas is also associated with ghost stories, and that will be on us before we know it. Does anyone know why Christmas is a popular time for ghosts?
