Exactly what I said about the footballer’s apology, Muddy.

Muddy, West Ham haven’t paid the RSPCA any money yet.
It better not just be a fake promise then, just to appease things. I would hope the RSPCA would remind them at some point over the next month.
Maybe it isn’t going to the RSPCA .
I think the money they are fining him would be donated to the RSPCA. At least thats what they said they would do…whether it actually happens or not remains to be seen…
"His cats were taken away by the RSPCA with the animal charity now reportedly looking to charge him.
Meanwhile, despite starting him, West Ham have reportedly fined him two weeks wages which would be donated to the RSPCA."
I would rather any money was going to smaller local charities rather than the RSPCA who admit to killing thousands of healthy animals every year.
That’s true, they do…but so do the SSPCA for that matter.
Its a horrific practice, and I don’t understand why on earth we take in pets from abroad. (Sorry, derailment)
But yes, the smaller local charities would benefit more from the money, I agree.
I have no doubt they do. I support a small local cat charity where everyone is a volunteer and really passionate about cats.
Agreed and, as for foie gras …
Good news indeed, Chilli.
Guess West Ham should have taken the same steps as his brothers team and suspended him.
Good!
Both vile heaps of excrement should have been sacked - and never allowed on a footbal pitch or near an animal ever again. That is the very least that should have happened. I still have knee caps and drills in mind!
I was going to make a comment when I saw his picture, but decided against it to avoid accusations of racism.
The West Ham Manager should have suspended Kurt Zouma from playing as soon as this News broke, like the team his brother plays for suspended him, at least until the RSPCA/Police investigation is complete, then decide on the next step after that.
I don’t suppose they have any clauses in their mega contracts about kicking cats - unless it comes under bringing the gang into disrepute
Tabby, in your link, his stupid manager also said - Quote:
" The Hammers boss said on Friday that “we all make mistakes” and he hopes the French footballer can be rehabilitated in a similar way to a drink-driver.
“We have to give people opportunities,” he said. “He said he got it wrong, made a big mistake, so I’m hoping people will see it in a different way and see it with forgiveness.”
With a money grabbing oaf like that in charge, he’ll soon be back on the pitch.
That is, unless the fans themselves won’t allow it, and give him a hard time!
Someone needs to explain the difference between an honest mistake and an act of calculated violence that gets uploaded onto social media.
