Footballer Kurt Zouma

Yes, that is very true, imo, his son could have grown up with him thinking it was normal to kick a cat like that…I have worked with a lot of black nurses and the stories they told me was quite shocking, about how they were treated growing up, who knows what family he came from…no excuse for his behaviour though…there culture I believe is the opposite of ours I believe?

Maybe we just like animals better than people and think that cruelty deserves harsher punishment than a paltry fine.

Then you would be taking the law into you own hands…if everyone thought the way some do on this thread…the whole world would be in chaos…we’d all be killing each other…I’m very happy with the judicial system in this country.
I would hate to play God myself.and I don’t let my emotions take over in this case, that’s why we have the law, they are the ones who decide what his punishment will be… but no doubt…he must suffer the consequences of his crime.

If anyone had done that to an animal of mine, there would be no forgiveness. I would defend my animals with my life.

I am sure the only reason he has apologised is because he was caught. The public outcry has got him worried and he is not sure what will happen.
The fact that his brother filmed it shows he is also equally cruel, and also that it was planned. It was a calculated action by a common thug, purely for their ‘amusement.’

Forgiveness has nothing whatsoever to do with his Manager letting him play.
He would have been allowed to play simply because of money. He was needed in the team to beat the opposition, and the Manager hadn’t got a replacement quick enough.
It was all to do with the manager running his business, nothing whatsoever to do with ‘forgiveness.’
I doubt his Manager could care less about a cat, he is in the business of building a team to win and make money, nothing else.

All this talk of forgiveness makes me cringe. None of us know the bloke, have never spoken to him or met him, yet it has been decided by some that because the nasty git mutters an apology for the cameras, he must surely mean it. Unbelievable.

True.
And a fine that probably means about the cost of one measly match to replace funds!
He must be laughing his socks off.

At least the animal charities got a boost of £250 k and I understand the cats have been removed from the house .
The brother is obviously of the same mindset they have been raised wrong .

Unfortunately all this talk of what they would do to him on this thread, makes me cringe also…as does unforgivness.:pray:thank God we have the law,:+1:

That’s true Muddy.
Trouble is, a measly fine won’t stop him going out and getting another animal, will it. Not unless he is banned from keeping animals.

And why would his kid lift the other cat on the worktop too? He must have known his father doesn’t allow that. According to someone else, that cat also got knocked off the top as well, much to the kid’s amusement.

Pauline, you can preach your forgiveness till the cows come home if it makes you feel more charitable, but mere words of apology doesn’t undo what happened, neither will it stop it happening again.

And you can preach your hatred towards this footballer…which I think is appalling.

If the brother was busy filming the actions rather than stopping it, then he must’ve condoned it.
And he surely must’ve had his phone ready to film BEFORE it happened.
I don’t believe anyone is that speedy with a phone video.

I haven’t read anything about the injuries incurred by the cat. There will obviously be mental consequences: fear of humans, but I’m sure there must also be physical injuries: skeletal and internal organs. Did it even survive?

Dear God, please don’t let anyone start a thread on Forgiveness.
If that happens I will never forgive you.
I may have to Take Drastic Steps…
If you promise this for me I promise to be good xx :innocent:

You can think what you want if it makes you feel worthy of praise from a sicko like him!
Let his children think it good fun too, because that’s what he’s teaching them.
Good man ey.

You see, the thing is, with ‘sorry’ is that it’s nothing if you’re only saying because you’ve got caught and want to get off the hook

Anyone whose brought up kids has heard plenty those sort of sorrys

So he’s sorry, so what?

Still gonna be consequences, punishment and people thinking he’s a jerk for doing what he did.

No sorry is going to help him dodge that

I agree Maree, and this is just what I said earlier.
I suspect the only reason he has apologised quickly, is because he got caught. Simple as that.
They both thought it was hiliarious and didn’t expect the reaction they’ve got.

What the hell are you on about now, for heavens sake?
Talk about hyperthetical claptrap!

What have kids in a classroom got to do with the price of fish?
What has me teaching kids got to do with anything?
As for me educating myself, and that you have just called me a ‘Fishwife’ , well I think I might have to “do a Pauline” here, and flag your post. Makes a change from you flagging everything.

Here she goes again…seriously…what ever makes you happy, you have accused me of something I never said, give it a rest…

Go back read my posts there are many of them…then get back to me…I will not tolerate the lies you are saying about me.

Telling me I feel worthy of his praise…what the h… are you on about?

Where have I praised him come on show me?

And I will not tolerate you spoiling as many threads as you can.

I have asked for the thread to be closed.
It’s the only way to shut you up for half hour.

And I won’t tolerate you lying and looking for trouble every thread I go into…you follow me, cut it out…and I do NOT spoil any threads…you’re good at doing that on your own, you don’t need me.
