What is the most important question you would ask on a first date
" Do you like cats?"
There is no place for anybody in my life, if they donât like cats!
Err. Why am I here again?
âHow much money do you have in the bank?â
Only joking, l would never, ever ask that!
I would probably ask, âWhatâs your forte?â
What makes you happy?
Living in the West of Scotland, the first question I would have asked on a first date some 50+ years ago (and having been born in Northern Ireland) would have been âWhat school did you go toâ thereby establishing the personâs religion. Thankfully of little importance nowadays.
Now its âwhat team do you supportâ
Do you have your own teeth
Lol. Pixie.
That made me actually laugh out loud
Years ago, my first question was⊠âWhat star-sign are you?â
If it was one that l was not compatible with, it put me off and l wouldnât see them again!
How shallow and trivial of me but l have grown up since then!!
Get a decent table for two, order a couple of drinks, have a chin wag about the menu.
What could possibly go wrong?
What could go wrong?
âYou donât really look like your pictureâŠwhen was that taken?â
About 2 stone ago
I am a stranger around here so could you show me the way to back to your place.
Of course I look like my pictureâŠand it was taken very recently alas!
Best avatar I could come up with.
What an odd thing to say
It wasnât to you personally! My daughter said this to a guy once and sat with him for a coffee but left shortly afterwards
You look very lovely, by the wayâŠpats head
The first one. If it takes off after that, thatâs a good sign. If it sinks to the ground, the date is done.
We would have to share the same faith, otherwise we would have nothing in common.
So asking him what faith he was, would be my first question.
I would never date a non- believerâŠon a â seriousâ level.
Howâs it hanging?
