Film - the most recent you have seen?

I’ve put ‘Sunshine on Leith’ on me list …

Couldn’t handle ‘Sunshine on Leith’. Struggle to enjoy modern musicals yet most musical cartoons I like. Just 2 blokes walking down the high-street singing and dancing seems odd to me, and when people climb onto tables in pubs belting out emotive numbers about stuff they should have kept to themselves it kinda makes my skin crawl. Odd. I need to do some introspective analysis me thinks.

We had the rather gripping (just joking) Barbie a fashion fairy tale, again. Many more times and I may have to lose it somewhere

Ooooer - say it broke ! It had been played too much ! :-p

Then we would have to sit through Barbie the fairy tale princess which is even worse

Oh well - Barbie it is then … :-p

Oh yes it’s Barbie Barbie Barbie here and candy pink.

don’t go to the pictures very much at all. But we were fortunate enough two years ago to take a cruise, and they were showing ‘The Artist’ on board. I very much enjoyed it, but my partner wasn’t interested at all.
Apart from that, I have ‘Les Miserables’ on DVD - does that count?

I haven’t been to the cinema since 1978 so all my films are TV or DVD, think a lot of other members are not always from cinema trips either.

Court Jester, just a happy romp for the whole family.

Julie - Disney’s ‘Fantasia’ - not only very well made - but it also has some fabulous music too !!!

Oh yes loved that one haven’t seen it in years must look out for it.

We go very often this week we saw Mrs Brown’s Boys…

Was it as good as the TV show ? we love that but were worried it might not translate to a film.

Yes Julie it was good…I love watching it on TV, this was based in Moore Street open market Dublin.

Oh brilliant now can’t wait for the DVD to come out

my nephew went to see it and said it was boring and not as good as the tv episodes, that can often happen when they stretch it out for too long, half hour episodes are probably more amusing

I can’t remember if I mentioned ‘The Best Offer’ with Geoffrey Rush that was a good film - so well done.

I too never go to the cinema I get my movies off the Interweb thingy

Half broken things starring Penelope Wilton.

She is a fab actress - was the film worthy of her ?
