Eileen is unwell

I keep popping in here as well to see if there’s any news of Eileen. If she’s anything like me, she’ll be fretting about her cat as to if she’s being cared for properly. I know I did when I was in hospital, but I was only in for three full days, but it’s been eight days now for Eileen.

She’s an absolute treasure and one of the nicest people I’ve “met” in cyberland so am hoping there’s nothing too serious with her back as I know she’s been in pain for quite some time with it. :frowning:

Yes I keep checking in for news as well and I also think she’ll be fretting about her cat as she’ll be missing her lots. There’s a lot of people wishing her well and let’s hope that she’ll soon be better.

Come on Eileen and I hope they will soon let you home.

Hopefully, no news is good news and Eileen will soon be back home and can return to the forum and her friends.

Annie darlin’ - the van can have BOTH sails and a motor. Just a thought, but we might deviate via the caribbean and pick up some more supplies of Rum too.

The Van can sail under a ‘flag of convenience’ - like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfF7BbyN-Bg&feature=related

Now UJ is this "van " as ubmercible ( or whatever you call it) ir is a Van a sort of boat. Dont want to be arriving at the docks and get on the wrong thing, have you noticed the canny way I avoided the mistake of calling it a boat or ship!.

Not a submersible Annie darlin’ unless we hit a hurricane out in the Atlantic - but had something like this: http://www.shipphotos.co.uk/pages/cuauhtemoc.htm in mind.

Started wondering now why she has been kept in hospital so long, hope there is nothing they cant ell us.I wish Chris would email you Mags.

Yes Annie, I agree but we don’t know how busy Chris is and I expect he has a life of his own too. I’m hoping no news is good news.

Yes I will think of that, thanks Mags.

Just a thought Mags darlin’ - but since you have Chris’s email address - how about posing the question to him about our Eileen???

Mags has been great at keeping us up to date, I think if we are not careful we will be guilty of harrassment. We are lucky to have any news as if some of you went missing in action we would not be able to find out anything. Lets just hope no news is good news.

wish her all the best regardles

Just looking for an update on Eileen. Still no news I see. She’ll surprise everyone soon…and just appear on here, fit as a fiddle. x

Still sending you healing vibes Eileen.

It’s almost like there’s a vital component missing to this forum without you here. :frowning:

Get well soon xx

Keep thinking about you Eileen and hoping to see you back here soon.

Keep checking to see how Eileen is. Sending best wishes, hope to see you back soon.

Ok folks, in the absence of any definitive news of our Eileen, its time to set sail to go find out ourselves (see # 149 for the vessel). Now all we need is a crew. If, as others have suggested I captain the ship, then I’ll need some watch officers and crew to climb the masts to unfurl the sails and I’ll also need a Bo’sun to to handle the steering. Volunteers???

Could I be put in charge of the rum rations Capn Joe? Apart from ourselves Capn, could the rest of the crew be all female?

You can put me down as a crew member, I always wanted to climb the mast!!
