It’s ‘sailing’ from Aberdeen, Uncle Joe By what you have said above, I think they could do with you onboard, maybe as Captain Joe, then they would stand a good chance of reaching their destination in time!
No further news of Eileen yet…
Oh dear, I was just going to ask you Mags. Not like ‘our’ Eileen to keep us waiting so maybe with all these tests going on she is busy with them.
Thinking of you everyday Eileen, we all are
I’m not sure how often Chris visits the hospital or has phone calls from Eileen so it’s just a matter of waiting to hear something this end:-(
Hmmmm - wrong side of Scotland, will have to take van down the Great Glen, through all the lochs to Glasgow or else round the Northern tip of Scotland past the ‘Old Man of Hoy’. At this time of year, that’s not good, can run into some very foul weather up there. Best they sail South, through the English Channel and pick me up on the way.
Why cant you sail with OFF people Hoisting the mainbrace, a vast behind etc.We could have a race Capn. You decide should we have sales or amotor? Capn Joe.
Sorry Eileen I went off at a tangent there it was the smell of the sea and the salt on the lips that turned my mind of the most important thing… How you doing girl, we really do miss you Eilee, come on Eileen!
not been on here in a while hope eileen will find out whats going on soon
give her my best wishes also
Nice to see you are still about Pixie, hope you are not doing things but just resting, see you soon Annie.
I keep looking in to see news of Eileen…I didn’t see when her MRI scan will be but I hope it is soon and they will send her home with a clean bill of health soon.
(with a bit of luck she’ll miss the van:-))
Just looking for news of Eileen, its Monday tomorrow and it could all be over and she could be home soon now.
as for the ct scan they only do that here last as the radation is verry high
Tomorrow…thanks Annie. Will be thinking of her.
I haven’t heard when Eileen will have the MRI, only that the hospital want her to have one. I’m hoping I’ll have more news soon.
the hospital don’t seam to be in any rush to discharge
Eileen, its a different story in the UK.
I know i am new to the forum but i can see how well loved this lady is and just wanted to add my best wishes, and get well soon vibes
Hopefully Mags, you will hear from Chris soon.
Think of Eileen every day and thoughts and prayers are with her. Stay strong Eileen, you’ve got Spring and Summer in front of you to enjoy…
I feel sure the fact that Eileen lives alone plays a factor as to why the hospital is in no hurry to release her. Although like most people, she hates hospitals, hopefully she is having a good rest and sleeping better than she did last year.
Thinking of you Eileen, looking forward to the day when I see your name online again…
This is one of the things that bothers me most Mags we who choose to live alone are used to our own company and space, having other people around all the time can be a nightmare. I shudder and feel a sense of panic just thinking about it.
I know ill or not I would recover faster in my own home surrounded by familiar things and without the intrusion of other humans .
I do hope Eileen will be permitted to return to her safe haven very soon.
Yes Meg, I know what you mean … Eileen would hate it if she was in a ward with many other people. She does prefer her own company. I hope they will find out the cause of her problems and treat them accordingly so that she will be able to return home as soon as possibly able.
so i am guessing they have no after care/ home visits etc
like we have so she could recover at home rather than being in hospital.
As long as she is mobile and her pain is under control home is always the best place.
