Had my second coronavirus vaccination earlier today and so far nothing more than a slightly sore arm. The first vaccination went alright so I am hoping this one will be the same. This time it was the Pfizer vaccine, the same as last time.
The 10-minute appointment slots seemed to work OK and all was well-organised at the surgery so done and dusted in about 25 minutes, 15 minutes of this was the required time sitting waiting to ensure there were no problems, before allowing me to leave.
We are hearing on the news every day about how bad the virus is in India.
Last night a friend of mine phoned, who is an Indian lady but has been in England for many years. Her children and grandchildren were born here.
However, she still has family in India and she said she has lost 7 of her relatives in one week recently, because of how bad the Covid is.
Isnât that awful. Imagine losting 7 relatives in a week.
I donât know if they were vaccinated or not.
We donât have such large families do we so itâs unlikely we would lose seven relatives in a week ?
Quite dreadful is the situation there and canât think the deceased would have been vaccinated when weâre led to believe that symptoms are not severe should you be unfortunate enough to have picked the virus up before the vaccine kicks in âŠso to speak ?
My sister is now suffering with Vertigo as is another lady l know. When l suggested could it be to do with their recent second Covid vaccinations, both have said they have had Vertigo before and donât think itâs to do with vaccination.
Mmmn, the jury is out on this one.
I agree, Zuleiker.
I might be speaking to her on Friday, so I will ask if she knows whether those people had been vaccinated or not. Iâd be interested to know.
I know she herself has had both jabs, so has her husband, but they are in UK.
Donât forget that a few generations ago, we used to have large families for the same reason that Indians and other countries do now: basically, insurance against the frequent loss of lives due to poor sanitary and other conditions.
It is also just possible that we in this country might one day find ourselves back in those conditions once again!
Mr Mags and I have both had pfizer jabs 1 and 2 and neither of us have had any reactions to either of them. Why some have a reaction and some donât, I couldnât say.
Just had my second jab a week ago and have started suffering from vertigo, to day it was bad as I walked round to the shop but had nothing when I walked home.
Mags, As l posted earlier, l had absolutely no reaction after the two Pfizer vaccinations l had. Then yesterday, l read there is an investigation into some people getting heart inflammation after having the Pfizer vaccination.
