There’s a woman up my way in the news today, who had an immediate side effect to the AZ jag…horrible burning rash all over her body which practically incapacitated her. She is a carer for her son and only 41 years old. The pictures are awful. She felt the effects as soon as the injection was given. So sad.
She probably lied before entering the the fax centre PK ??
Donkeyman!
Given that circa 30 million people have had the jab to date, it would be a miracle if nobody had an adverse reaction.
How awful, Pixie, when I had mine, a woman collapsed after having hers, i was fine, next day,…so not looking forward to my next jab.
Providing that all the reactions are reported and on the news Dex…
EXACTLY, Foxy!
I bet lots more people feel bad than we know about but it doesn’t get reported.
People will be tired of hearing me saying, but when I was poorly, my doctor himself told me it was a bad reaction to the vaccine, yet he never once suggested it was reported.
Maybe not so many people know about the yellow card scheme, but luckily I did, so did a written report myself, but how many others do?
This is the very reason why the statistics can’t be accurate - because things don’t get reported.
I must say, it does make me nervous.
If you were fine next day there is no need to worry about your next vaccine Pauline.
Well there is an app people can download called Zoe
Ey?
What’s that all about Annie?
Errr…no. I just looked it up. April fools is done now, Annie.
Haha! It’s not a joke. ZOE Global ltd developed by Kings college hospital
Sorry that was the covid symptoms study. This is the link for the vaccine side effects diary app
Hmm, when I googled Zoe App, it was very dubious - I wondered if you had been hacked for a minute  But glad you haven’t, and thanks for sharing
Haha yes it does sound a bit dodgy.
Australia’s Acting Chief Medical Officer Michael Kidd has confirmed authorities are investigating a “probable” case of a rare clotting disorder in an Australian man who received the AstraZeneca vaccine.
Professor Kidd said the matter was being taken “very seriously” and was being investigated by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).
The TGA’s vaccine safety investigation group will meet tomorrow and will seek to determine whether the disorder is linked to the AstraZeneca vaccine.
Here in the UK there have been reported 30 cases from over 18 million AstraZeneca vaccinations between 9th December 2020 and 21st March this year according to our MHRA.
‘“The number and nature of suspected adverse reactions reported so far are not unusual in comparison to other types of routinely used vaccines,” said the MHRA report.’
“The regulator stressed that all medicines have potential side effects and that the benefits of both COVID jabs means people should not hesitate to get vaccinated.”
Well, my second vaccination is due tomorrow but l still have not received any communication regarding the second one.
I am not sure if the delay of my second vaccination is detrimental to my protection from Covid-19?
Don’t forget it’s Easter week end Arty !!!
